I visited for lunch. The restaurant has casual and friendly atmosphere and the staff were very nice. Kimchi and radish pickles were bottomless. I ordered bibimpa in stone bowl (sorry, forgot the official name!) It was a bit pricy, but it worth. Excellent flavor, fresh ingredients, sufficient portions and not too spicy but you could add spicy pasta if you want. Overall great experience. I will come back!

Wanted some Korean chicken so we headed to China Town and had a wonderful dinner inside at the small two top table near the window. The staff was wonderful and offered great suggestions. We had the mushroom Mandoon appetizer with the Korean chicken and eggplant miso. The food was perfect! Such a great place and wonderful outdoor atmosphere if you sit out back, albeit it can be warm sometimes. You can never go wrong eating here!

For dinner, our table ordered the truffle mandoo, Bibimbap stone pot, kalbi, pork belly brulee and Korean chicken. The food came out quickly. It was all delicious. The deserts were good too...I think the chocolate cake was our fav. Staff was attentive. It is a BYOB restaurant. If you can, find street parking...there is a paid lot on the same block opposite Okims.

I had the fish special. It was really good. We also had the veg mandoo and those were excellent. my guest had the salmon and she said it eas good. The portions were very generous. We couldn't eat it all. Will return to try the other dishes. Very friendly and food came out quick.

teh menu isnt huge, but everyone found something for them and everyone said their food was delicious. Service was good, and we ended up at a table out back in the courtyard, which is covered and they have fans to move some air, which was nice on a humid warm day. The food was incredibly flavorful.

The food at O'Kims is excellent. Every dish we ordered was delicious. However, the ambience left a lot to be desired. When you first enter the small dining room, there are stacks of cardboard take-out boxes piled all over. Not a great look. We wanted to sit outside, but we had to wait for an open table, which was understandably fine. We were seated at an empty table in the adjoining dining room to wait. During that time, the noise from a blender in the kitchen was so loud, we couldn't hear what we were saying. I'm sure all the other diners, who were eating their meals, felt the same way. We eventually got seated in the back outdoor area, which was a lot quieter and nicer. The food is great, but they have to work on making the two indoor dining areas nicer places to have your meal in.

The food was top-notch and a total steal for the price, making it an ideal pre-show meal. This is the kind of place you'll want to tell all your friends about.
If you love Korean food and have an open mind about how the cuisine can be reinterpreted, don't hesitate to go! The service was outstanding, the food was amazing and the kimchi was the closest thing to my mother's I have ever had. We'll definitely be back!
