I ordered okonomiyaki and spicy yakisoba, and the taste was just as we know. Haha. Okonomiyaki is not the puffy shape you often see in Japan, but is thick like a pie. Yakisoba (I didn't take a picture) had a bit of spiciness, but the amount of noodles wasn't that much.
The price is understandable considering the price of a Japanese restaurant in Waikiki, but it is not easy.
It's nice that they even prepared hot tea after we finished eating.

Sat at the bar, local bro keep Makoto takes care of me mighty fine......Happy Hour 5-6pm is a super deal......21oz Sapporo draft for under $6!! Stir fried Pork Kimchee and Tompeiyaki omelette on the HH menu are delicious starters and pair well with my brew. Gots to finish with the signature Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki.........I can see the Chibo Teppan chef preparing my order........man there's nothing like delicious Okonomiyaki hot off the grill and ice cold Sapporo #3 to wash it down!!

Service and staff were kind and attentive, but there’s better/ equal quality okonomiyaki for much cheaper elsewhere on island- way too overpriced here! That’s Waikiki for you I guess. Can’t speak for other menu items, but glad to have dined at least once. Mahalo, Chibo.

We ordered the omelette appetizer, garlic chicken, onion bacon potatoes— all 10/10! The poke... garlic shrimp were also realllly good and all of our entrees were thumbs Uppp! The Team Service was great and our Teppan Chef (JAY) was the SuperHero!!! We will soon be back—- Highly recommend by all attendees from age 11 thru 87!!

Nice Happy Hour 5-6pm. Ordered the Tompei-yaki, Pork Kimchee Stirfry and Garlic Shrimp all washed down with ice cold Sapporo draft. It's not over till you order the Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki which is always very outstanding. Bartender John kept my mug filled and we talked a lot about the serious challenges restaurants face here on the islands. I hope and pray Chibo survives because it is the only game in town if you want Okonomiyaki!!

Great place for date nights. All the fun and excitement of a teppanyaki grill restaurant with a smaller and more intimate feel. The bar is also good for conversations over sake. Plenty of dessert shops and bars are in the area if the evening is going well.

Not amazingly good but pretty satisfying Japanese Teppanyaki experience, watching the chef cooking right in front of you.
