I’m Korean and I’ve never had handmade mandoo better than the ones we got at Omega. The dumpling skin was so chewy and soft, and you can taste the freshness of the ingredients in the filling. Both the chicken/veggie as well as the kimchi mandoo are great choices, and even non-Koreans can have the kimchi because it’s not too spicy. The Korean aunties in the shop are so sweet as well which makes it even better. We will already plan to go back soon! 잘 먹었읍니다!!!
What a hidden underrated treasure in Oahu! The dumplings were the best I have ever had and I’m Korean! We got the chicken and veggie dumplings before our hike and seriously the dumpling wrapper is revolutionary! Never had such a thick and chewy dumpling wrapper, it was so delicious and the filling perfectly meaty with chives and their soy sauce with spicy peppers! It was perfection. It is cash only so bring cash! They sell in 20 piece or 35 piece to bring home or can be steamed...
Cash-only but worth the trip to the ATM for sure. These mandoo have thick and chewy house-made wrappers and delicious filling, hand-folded and sold by the aunties hanging out inside. The sauce is hypnotically good and only gets better as it sits in your fridge.
