For this week only 1+1 has Jai on the menu for the new year. It comes with 2 scoops of rice and is piping hot. Soo ono and healthy. It's a sweeter teriyaki-like version and I'm glad I tried it. For a healthy and prosperous new year better get here soon.

Although friendliness could be improved the food is pretty darn good!! My mom is very particular with her Teri Beef and One Plus One delivers. Very tender and packed with savory goodness. When I buy a plate from here she always smiles. Portions are also generous. She can make two meals out of one plate. Pricing is comparable to other places as well. Alooooohaaaaaaaaaa!!

Ordered mixed plate for 15.25 & house noodles for 12.50. The mixed plate was good, lots of meat. Beef curry is good as well. House noodle was decent. A lil bit dry, with very little vegetables & meat. Huge noodle portion though. It was a ratio of 95% noodle, 5% meat & veggies. Service was fast as I'm the only one.

I haven't been here in years, but my workplace catered a lunch through them. They ordered huge trays of chow mein, Chinese chicken salad, mochiko chicken, chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, fried fish and eggplant tofu. Everything that I tried on my plate was fantastic. My favorites were the Chinese chicken salad and teriyaki beef. The salad greens were crisp and fresh. It paired nicely with the chicken, crispy wontons and the salad dressing. The teriyaki chicken had a great marinade and was tender. I hope they cater from here more often, lol.

One Plus One Drive (1+1) Inn is about a block away from where I live, I pass by on the way home nearly every work day, but I hardly ever have visited. But two recent reviews from Yeeps Donna O & Daniel C prompted me to check them out again! 1+1's parking lot that they share with the liquor store has only about 4 stalls, so they can fill up quickly. There's a small order area, but a good sized dining area. The menu is a mix of typical L&L type local plate lunch entrees and Chinese food. Decided to try a local staple, chicken katsu with gravy over everything. It's great they offer brown rice, albeit with a $.50 surcharge. Total was $13 before tax. While I waiting for my order, there was a steady stream of to-go and several party pan orders. After a bit of a wait, my plate was ready. A famous plate lunch joint prepares their plates prior to your order, so their food is usually warm. Not One plus One! It was heavy and piping hot! Decided to use the dining room to enjoy the hot food. Draped in gravy, the katsu was a joy to see! Even more joyous was the third cutlet! Quickly attacked the katsu, but I had a lot to take home. Reasonable prices, a lot of food, good taste. One Plus One meets all the gates. Will enjoy trying some of 1+1's Chinese entrees too. Repeat and recommend!

Not much parking, but good food and generous servings. Order from counter and pick up from window. Limited parking, but some seating in air-conditioned dining area.

I just love this place! They have so many items on their menu and most of them are good! The prices were so reasonable when i first started to come here and it is still reasonable even when they have to raise the prices over the years! They have good cooks and everything I've tried was pretty good. My go to items were the fishes from garlic basa, fry fish, garlic ahi and salmon. I started to like the pan fried garlic chicken and mochiko chicken. Wow, the mochiko chicken had a lot of taste! Really tasty. The chicken wings were pretty good too! My new go to favorite is the Teri chicken fried rice (thanks Daniel C for the tip) but I got it in place of rice and salad with the garlic chicken for $4.75 extra! So many big chicken pieces were in my fried rice and they were nice to make it without eggs for me! Great portion too! They have some chairs and table to dine in their air conditioned place or take out. Just not always easy to get a parking space here. They share the parking lot with the liquor store and it's across Kahai Kitchen. They have just about everything to satisfy your tummy! One of my favorite places to come for plate lunches!

My husband and I decided last minute to buy food and break bread with a group of our friends and acquaintances.(New Years Eve Day) I asked if I could pick my entire order up at 5:30pm. There were at least 4 couples both inside and outside, all putting in our last minute bulk orders. The hot food was hot, cold dishes nice n chilled- everything delicious! One Plus One really pulled thru quickly, efficiently, and even joyfully! This spot is wonderful in all categories.

We ordered Chicken Katsu and Teri Steak "pan kine" for grandsons birthday and broke the mouth! Not fatty and so Ono! They really pack the pan, so they're very generous with their portions. We picked up and the Service was awesome but the price even better! I was very surprised with the quality and quantity for the price! This was our first time ordering as we heard by word of mouth! We have a big family and it looks like we just became regulars!! Give this place a try and thank me later cuz Papa was a big hit this birthday thanks to One Plus One Drive Inn!

A foodie recommended One Plus One Drive Inn to me so I decided to give them a try. They are located on King St across of Kahai Street Kitchen (Coolidge St). There is a small lot that's shared with the liquor store but there is only 4, maybe 5 stalls. The lot was full when I arrived so I parked next to the dumpster. When you enter, you'll notice the order window, pick up window and the room to dine in with several tables. The restaurant is cozy with lots of natural light. It is a little warm inside so if you want to just pay and go then make a phone order. My foodie friend was raving about their fried rice and said the garlic chicken plate was legit. We ordered exactly what she raved about but with all rice on the garlic chicken plate since we don't eat mac salad. The fried rice we opted for was the teri chicken fried rice. It was moderately busy but the kitchen didn't take long to get our order out. The plates were hot and heavy when the order was ready. Everything was good and tasty. I was expecting their garlic chicken to have more of a garlic taste or actual garlic pieces but it was still good. Overall, a good restaurant with generous portions.

Been here in the past many times and had no complaints, the food was always delicious. Not sure if they have a new cook or trying to save money but they used spoiled rice for their fried rice. Took the pan of fried rice to a party and everyone thought the same. So it makes you question everything, won't go back again.

This place could get 5 stars but I like to try other things before I make that decision. For today I would say 4.5 stars. The best part for me was that there is ac in the area you eat which is great on a hot day like today. We got a chicken katsu and shared a mini. I think it's is just less rice and chicken but not much less. It is three layers of chicken. The Mac salad is creamy and the macaroni is soft not aldenti. The chicken is dark meat moist and tender and juicy. The outer coating is so crispy too. It was not a bad price for what you get. Good value and it is piping hot when you eat it there. This place is surprisingly good. While we were here a lot of people ordered the trays.
