What a lovely venue. The scrambled eggs were amazing and the table by the lawn overlooking the ocean was unparalleled. So peaceful and lovely. The eggs Benedict were served in a bowl, making it impossible to eat. A plate would be better, and more normal! Our server didn't explain that water was not included in the full breakfast, and only one coffee or tea per person as well. Given the price of the full breakfast, it felt a little mean. Starbucks to the rescue!

It is hands down the best buffet I have ever been to. The quality of food is top notch and the service is impeccable. 10 out 10, would HIGHLY recommend, and look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful atmosphere adjacent to the lawn and ocean at House Without a Key with Diamond Head in the background. The Hawaiian music can be heard and really makes you feel in the vacation mood. My food was delicious and the service was attentive. The fish and pasta were tasty. As always, the coconut cake at any of the Halekulani venues is amazing.

We got in at a time that it wasn't very busy. After we got seated it took a long time for the waiter to see us, we didn't even get any water. It took a long time to get refills for a diet coke, and once I received regular coke instead. We ordered the tenderloin medium rare and it came out more than rare. They took it back but it had barely any taste after it came back out, the mist I could taste were the burnt bits from cooking it more. The pasta was very good. The octopus was tender but didn't have much flavor. For the price we expected a lot more.

We loved House Without a Key, but we won't be returning here.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Orchids, located in the Halekulani Hotel. The setting is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful ocean view and elegantly designed interiors that create a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.

The menu features a wonderful selection of dishes, showcasing fresh, local ingredients with a creative twist. I was particularly impressed by the presentation and flavor of each plate. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

As we were celebrating my wife’s birthday, we were delighted to receive a complimentary dessert — Halekulani’s Signature Coconut Cake. It was a perfect ending to our meal and left a lasting impression.

Overall, Orchids is a superb dining destination that combines exquisite cuisine with a breathtaking setting. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Oahu!

We have been twice. The food is very well curated. The mai Tais are the best I have ever had and I strongly recommend the coconut cake. Beautiful location with music floating over from House without a Key. It is indoor/outdoor and is a great view of the ocean when on the front tables and from inside the dinning room.

I would say, not awesome. But, is was good. The crab leg were bit dry and hard. The prime rib was tender but a bit salty. I enjoyed the flank steak with chimichurri the best and the pipover. Deserts, the almond float, though not traditiona (fusion), was good. Bread pudding was was very good with the vanilla sauce. Ice creams and sorbet, didn't expect that little tiny scoop. Though, ice you could have has much as you want in a cup form. If you get a waffle cone (waffle cone not made in-house) you get more ice cream.

The ocean view from the restaurant is lovely, very elegant surroundings. Servers were very nice and professional, we had Scott as one of our servers snd the other server was very gracious too sorry I didn't get his name. Food is always fresh and good quality, presented well.

This place is great, I love the ambience and the place exudes class. The service was excellent. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I only have 1 issue with this place. The food was mediocre compared to any fine dining restaurants in the Bay area. 3 dinner entrees, 3 drinks, a mid course, soup, and burrata salad came to $400 with tip. The lobster bisque was ok. The burrata salad was blah. The beef cheeks was not very flavorful. The filet mignon my son order was nothing special. The Hapu'up'u'/seabass was alright. And the short rib ravioli was forgettable. I had to remind our waiter 2 times to bring us bread. Bread came out after appetizer is a no no in my book. Aside from the mediocre food and the bread coming out late. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a very nice hotel. Will I come back??? Probably not.

OK if you're staying at the hotel but otherwise avoid. We booked, but the table wasn't ready on time. There was a wedding party in. The atmosphere felt like a noisy canteen rather than an upmarket restaurant. Overpriced.

Sunday brunch here is exceptional. The buffet offers a wide range of fine dining options, including a seafood section with sushi, oysters, and crab legs, complemented by a carving station featuring Kalua Pig and glazed ham. There's also an omelette and ramen station, and the dessert station is a highlight with their renowned coconut cake. Service is outstanding. Request an outside table for the best experience. It’s pricey, but well worth it.

An unforgettable experience with a lovely view, refreshing drinks and splendid food! I highly recommend this place whether it’s an evening dinner, anniversary or birthday this is the perfect spot. The snapper was delicious, and the steak was cooked just right, I recommend the coconut cake which is their signature dessert. There’s inside sitting but the outside gets you the view.

Our entire experience at Orchids was top notch. It was the best meal we had on the island! All of our needs and wants were met with high expectations. The waitstaff was friendly, honest, knowledgeable about the food, and anticipated our needs. The food was of superior quality, full of flavor, and a true labor of love. The atmosphere is simply perfect: oceanfront!
