Staff attempted to seat us at terrible tables twice. We had to keep requesting to sit I. The nicer tables that were wide open. That simply should not occur at any restaurant. We booked months in advance for a special occasion and were treated poorly until finally swatted at a decent table
Sunday brunch at the Orchids is a must-do for us when we go to Hawaii. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, and the ambience is elegant but not stuffy. Dress up and treat yourself to an unforgettable experience, and don't forget to leave room for a small slice of their signature coconut cake!
The food, the service, and the ambiance was outstanding as usual. We make this an annual New Years's celebration to celebrate the end of the Christmas season and the beginning of the new year. The best Sunday Brunch on Oahu.
Exceptional food, beautiful presentation. One misunderstanding in order. We were charged for a side that we did not intentionally order. Guest was asked if he wanted a dish and he thought it came with his entree but it did not.
I took my wife here to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. This place is top notch. Food, service atmosphere and the most beautiful scenery of Waikiki Beach and sunset. We ordered the 5 course Chef tasting. It was outstanding. Our Head waiter Marcus and Chris were attentive and timely with serving us. This place is a must if you want to impress your mate. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Great tuna tartare! Much better than one would expect from a hotel. But expensive.
Had breakfast here 3 out of 5 days on Oahu. The service is top notch and the food is delicious. The views and ambiance are beautiful and relaxing. They can split any meal for you, and have a wide variety of options for breakfast.

Visited the store for breakfast on the last day in Hawaii.
Make a reservation by phone for breakfast starting at 7:00 the night before.
I was hoping for a good seat with a view of the beach, so the seats were really good!
I get excited when the location is good🌺
Enjoying breakfast while looking at the sunrise, Diamond Head, the ocean, and feeling the breeze is the best!
I don't usually eat it in the morning, but since I have a chance, I'm going to have avocado toast♪
It was delicious😊
You can get service as soon as the coffee runs out! There is also decaf.
Is the music in the store classical?
It's not Hawaiian music, but it's good.

Sunday brunch buffet is a great spread and decent quality. The desserts were surprisingly good and I’m not a huge sweets person. Macadamia nut ice cream was also tasty.

We go here every time we're in Honolulu. Book an early dinner res before sunset for the best views. Usually they seat dinner reservations from the outside in, so the earlier the better. Service is always great, don't fill up on bread as the portions are a decent size. Loved all the dishes here, you can't go wrong with any. Coconut chiffon cake is the classic dessert.

Restaurantji Recommends
This restaurant is located inside the Halekulani Hotel.
I made a reservation for a terrace seat.
Some reservations were made for 6:30 p.m.,
While I was looking at the menu, I noticed the sunset time.
It has come.
The people sitting at the table in the back
Everyone came out to the terrace and started taking pictures with their smartphones.
The sunset was so beautiful.
I ordered the food a la carte.
All of them were voluminous and very delicious.
I had an amazing breakfast here. The food was delicious, view is gorgeous, and the service from the staff is impeccable. I highly recommend going here!

Let me start by saying that the food and service was excellent. Our issue was that we had a reservation at 2:15 and arrived about 20 minutes early, we were seated promptly. The problem was about 30 minutes after being seated we were told that it was last call for food. What?!? Seriously? That ruined what was supposed to be a beautiful special occasion by being rushed through our meal. I felt like we couldn’t even enjoy ourselves. At $120 per person, I would expect to be there for more than 45 minutes. I am greatly disappointed in our experience. You probably shouldn’t be scheduling reservations at 2:15 if you plan on closing at 3:00 :(
Went there for my birthday brunch. Very mediocre food. They seem to prioritize quantity over quality. Service was abysmal. The servers had to be called multiple times to order items, get coffee or even simply clear the plates. Very disappointing!!!
