What a perfect meal! Service, views, and amazing food. Highly recommend! My husband cannot stop talking about the tomato soup. And... save room for the heavenly coconut cake...the best!

Absolutely recommend Orchids at Halekulani! This is an incredible brunch experience overlooking the ocean. Tony, Benjamin, and the entire staff that waited on us were amazing -- they truly made the experience! We had a special request, and they listened and made it happen perfectly. The food was exceptional. Compliments to the Chef and staff!

Orchids represents a level of service and refinement not seen very often in today's dining scene. Think elegant and comfortable. The restaurant has a beautiful ocean view, the wait staff is attentive but not intrusive and the food is outstanding. I cannot recommend Orchids highly enough.

Always the most amazing brunch! Quality of food, variety of food, best staff on the island and never mind the ambiance and view. For that special occasion or those special guests this is the venue!

It was disappointing to be in such a beautiful place and receive such poor service and food. The dining experience was not what we expected. However the person who did actually serve us (deliver) our food was very kind and friendly and we did appreciate him.

Fabulous experience. Outstanding service, and beautiful ocean view. We had several people in our party with gluten sensitivity and they were very accommodating. Food options were great and our selections tasted wonderful, although servings were smaller than we'd like. Got a bonus for our anniversary as well!

Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The ambiance was exquisite. However, the asparagus ravioli was bland and truffle flakes were dry and tasteless. The flavor of the pork dish was good but the pork was very tough. The chef's special lasagnette was good. Recommendation to add chicken on the menu. There is a dress code but it doesn't appear to be enforced which is a shame for such a quality restaurant.

My wife and I went to brunch on a Sunday morning. Live piano, excellent service, a huge selection, and some amazing desserts . My wife made the reservation so I'm not sure what options were available for people with allergies (I'm allergic to shellfish). I had a mimosa, some romaine lettuce with Parmesan cheese and croutons, and a slice of beef brisket. There was a lot of shellfish but I thought I was careful to avoid them. I'm not sure how but I was wrong. I soon began experiencing the early symptoms of angioedema (swelling of lips and tongue). My wife informed the person who came to refill our water asking if they had any diphenhydramine (benadryl). That person sent our server over who (after being asked the same) went and got the manager who came over and said that they had called for security who had a first aid kit. We were starting to draw attention from nearby tables and I was starting to panic as my symptoms were beginning to worsen so I got up and left for our hotel where my meds were (1 block away).Ultimately, the fault is my own as I could have brought my meds with me and I would highly recommend to anyone with shell fish allergies who want to try the Orchids famous brunch buffet that they do. I wish I could have enjoyed more of what the Orchid had to offer. The piece of brisket I had was easily the best I'd ever tasted. I've worked in kitchens before and I know how easily cross contamination can occur. I assume that something I ate touch a surface that touched shellfish as the over all histamine response was relatively mild compared to past episode where I consumed shellfish. I'm not angry, just didn't feel like I got my monies worth hence the 4 out of 5 stars. Would still recommend if you don't have allergies though.

The view is the best if you go at dusk.Reservations are required as it is a famous restaurant. The prices are Halekulani prices, but the service is outstanding.I received a cake service for my birthday, and I appreciate your consideration.

I dined here with a group of seven friends and family members. It's a bit pricey but the food quality and service is phenomenal. I was visiting from out of town but definitely plan to dine here when I return.

The view, even though it was slightly overcast, was still beautiful. But ambiance is more than just a breathtaking view. As a kaima'aina, I did not feel the aloha spirit, from the staff that were at the food stations, to the servers. Perhaps it was because it was near the end of service for the brunch buffet and people were tired. I am trying to see both sides of the situation. We had a 1:30 reservation and when I inquired as to the length of the seating period, I was told that it was 2 hours. After a week, I received a call letting me know that the price for the brunch buffet was now $118.00 per person. The price had gone up because it now included 2 glasses of Prosecco per person. We don't really drink, but we had heard such good things about the Sunday Brunch, that we were willing to pay more, hoping that we could substitute a soda for the Prosecco. No such deal. You would need to pay for any other beverage. We were told at 2:30, that the food stations would be closing at 3:00. This was our last opportunity to make a plate before everything was shut down. Only one glass of Prosecco, no one ever came around with the second bottle and we had 1 hour and 30 minutes, instead of the 2 hours to partake in the brunch buffet. Why even offer a 1:30 reservation, if you know that all the food will be taken away at 3:00?

I usually don't write reviews on Yelp especially because I work in the restaurant/hospitality industry as well but after my experience here I felt compelled to write one. My family and I came here for a celebration for Sunday brunch which is known to be one of the best brunch buffets on the island. Before we had even got the restaurant they had notified us that brunch is no longer 80$ per person which we were originally quoted for and is now 110$ per person, because now every person gets two complimentary glasses of champagne. Very weird to force people to pay more for glasses of champagne considering we're not big drinkers but we accepted the new price change because we wanted to go for the experience. still. The ambience and scenery is beautiful and we were very excited to try this buffet being that we've tried several others before and supposedly this was the best one to go. For the buffet instead of grabbing food as you please there are employees who serve it to you which is normal now because of Covid but the employees working behind the food stations were not friendly and looked like they didn't want to be there from the sushi station to the ice cream station. Almost felt like we were bothering them by coming to there station, and I'd honestly say most of the staff there weren't very friendly at all. The food itself however was pretty good, can definitely tell the quality is better than other buffets but overall experience was underwhelming especially since your charging the 110$ per person plus no kamaiana discount or anything special for locals.
