The food was good but a little pricey, and overall it felt overhyped. The service was terrible, after I paid in cash, the servers didn’t communicate with each other and later questioned me again about the check and payment, which was very frustrating. The place is old, and the men’s restroom was gross and disgusting. Because of this experience, I won’t be coming back.

Soon as we get in you will smell and old place and not pleasant. We just have no choice because we’re running out of time. They are under staff. Lastly to match the old smell the bathroom is also dirty and stinks. Go somewhere else

It's an older restaurant with all the great breakfast menu.Simple and under twenty bucks i can't believe I haven't found this place all the time I live there. They have big breakfasts and average size . So if you're a big eater , still can get full not go broke.

Arrived earlier than other two big families and they were served and got their food before us. Waited for about an hour and got our stomach full of coffee and water. My family keeps asking about the food and kids are falling sleep from waiting too long. The customer service is beyond disappointing. My family walked out and how dare you tell me the food is coming out - we waited too long for a simple order. Also, who works at the cashier and cant tally up 3 coffee, 5 juices and look at me like a deer in a headlight. I was told to wait for the server to get my receipt, you mean the same server that served us last and took her sweet time getting to us. No thanks, Im going to drop the cash. I may have overpaid but in all honesty, I wouldn't paid a single penny with that terrible customer service. Very Sad!!!

Delicious pancakes, and omelet. The portion sizes were huge. Home cooking. My waitress was fantastic.

We found this place on the map trying to find a good breakfast place to eat. It exceeded our expectations. The pineapple pancakes were awesome! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! We will definitely eat here again! Thank you for the great food and service!

Worst experience ever. It smelled nasty as soon as we walked in. Like stale oil.
The food came out fairly quickly. I ordered spam and eggs with rice. Eggs and rice were good. The spam was extremely undercooked.
My MIL ordered eggs, hashbrowns and Portuguese sausage. The hashbrowns were hash brown patties (would be nice if it was posted on the menu that they’re patties) but what made it disgusting was the taste of old oil that the hashbrown patties had. It was clearly fried in old oil that needed to be changed. And not just day old oil. It must’ve been a few days old. Completely disgusting. As we were eating, a cockroach walked by. We understand nature is nature so we laughed about it. The kicker was when MIL and I walked to the restroom to pee before leaving. The smell was sooo disgusting like sewage that our breakfast nearly came up. We immediately walked out without using the restroom, but it was so strong that we had to take zofran to alleviate the nausea. Overall. I’d rate this place a 0 if I could. The service and the coffee was good but I wanted breakfast not a coffee trip.
Never again. How these other reviews are good. I’ll never know. I was literally stumped by that.

It’s a bit over priced for what you get. Honestly the place seems all hype based on being a long time establishment, or an old one. And it shows. The staff and atmosphere is quite cozy and friendly , however I question the hygiene.

Fruit flies buzzing around your food, and least to say the men’s bathroom was utterly disgusting.

The food was mid tier, nothing special. The eggs were quite bland. The pancakes were alright i guess. Probably won’t be coming back here.

Food is very good. Unfortunately, they do not have any apples for their famous baked apple pancakes.

Most delicious bomb home cooked breakfast spot on the island in my opinion. The 49'er pancake is Devine! Along with a side of corned beef hash. Perfect salty sweet combination. The servers are always awesome.

I come here for the flap jacks or the dutch baby, everything else is just alright. I don't crave pancakes too often, and because flap jacks are way better then pancakes I just come here. The flap jacks practically melt in your mouth... along with the butter and syrup
