The best chocolate on the island. No others come close. The owner has a unique personality that I had a great time conversing with.

Stopped by earlier this year to get some chocolates for the wife and was blown away with how good they were. I'm a big chocolate fan and I was not disappointed. There not the cheapest but quality never is. I actually returned again yesterday and bought more and had a great conversation with the french/Aussie owners who loves to have a great yarn. If you like chocolate or want to impress someone with the best chocolates on island. Go to Padovani's

Amazing chocolates! They melt in your mouth. I got them last Valentine's as a gift and finally made it to their store in Dole Cannery after stopping at Costco. Love their chocolate and coffee as well! Their coffee is made with 100%PBA from Big Island.

There's a few things better than chocolate - that's more chocolate. We got the scoop on this one from a friend who had been stationed on Oahu and used Padovani's to smooth over his wife's ruffled feathers. We went on a Saturday but it was closed. The hours had not been updated. So we returned on Monday. The owner, Philippe and his wife were behind the counter and talking to another customer. Listening to the exchange I knew he was passionate about his chocolates willing to give the background of his creations. When it became our turn we received the same personalized attention and explanation of his newest creations. We bought 8 pieces and driving back to the hotel got a taste. Wow! These are gourmet chocolates, smooth, rich & exquisite tasting. They were something to savor, not to finish in one sitting. They were worthy of the recommendation I received. We're looking forward to our next trip to Oahu to indulge in more chocolates from Padovani's.

Amazing best Chocolates in Hawaii? Flavors I have never seen before would definitely recommend for the true connoisseur???.

Best chocolates, anywhere.

HIGH quality ingredients in a somewhat forgotten world of the Dole Cannery. It's hard not to love this mom and pop spot with delicious treats. I sampled a dozen dark chocolate filled confections heavy on the tropical fills. The Mango Caramel was exceptionally good. At nearly $4 a pieces this is certainly a splurge. The unique fillings are more descriptive on paper than found in the chocolate.

Padovani makes the best artisan farm to table chocolates in Hawaii. He is one of the true Hawaii Regional Chefs, and a master chocolatier. His truffles are divine, and his craftsmanship is unparalleled. You will not be disappointed by supporting this local business.

Go for the chocolates - stay for the hospitality. I have stopped here a few times and each time was memorable. Chef Padovani is a born story teller. He also encourages curiosity with kindness. Each question is rewarded with either an entertaining answer or a sample. The most recent visit was an opportunity to show appreciation for my wife at the end of 2020. However, the gift I got was spending time with Chef. In case I hadn't made it clear, his chocolates are wonderful! He has added some beautiful pastries that look amazing as well. Please do your loved one and yourself a favor. Stop here and let your faith it humanity be restored. Chef does that too

Panic! It was my anniversary the next day and I had no gift! Blame it on COVID...or should I just get going on Yelp and find some good chocolates. My Yelp search led me to a hidden gem right in the heart of Iwilei: Padovani's Chocolates. The name Philippe Padovani should be familiar to many of you: renowned chef from Halekulani and many other ventures. With his brother Pierre, they formed this chocolate company in 2006.Philippe has some very unusual local flavors worth trying. Pirie mango, calamansi, and lilikoi. Mind you, these are short run flavors so don't expect to find these every time you visit. He likes to change things up a bit. Of course, there are also a myriad of liqueur and liquor flavors as well. Philippe has all the original bottles to prove it as well.If you have some time, stay a while and chat with him. I found myself thinking I was in EUrope talking to an artisan shop owner who truly loves his craft and takes time to educate the customer on chocolate and other fine things.

Hand crafted chocolate truffles? Yes please! My journey to Padovani's chocolates all started when my friend gave me a box of chocolates for Christmas. They were so delicious that I had to check out the store for myself! When I walked into the store, I was greeted by the owner Phillipe. He was incredibly friendly and shared his knowledge about chocolate. You can definitely tell that he loves what he does. I chose to get a variety of chocolates per his recommendations. Besides delicious decadent chocolate, you can also order drinks and pastries. I will definitely be back for more chocolates! Happy eating!

Is it weird that chocolate could have you feeling like a million bucks? Or maybe it was the chef himself lol! He's a super cool guy. Tasting this chocolate with my mom was such a pleasant and special experience. I learned to savor the art of wonderfully made chocolate. I'm so thankful to have come across this hidden gem. I honestly HATE fruity chocolate. But this... this place will have you looking at chocolate in a whole new set of eyes. My mom and I can't stop raving about this place. Thank you chef Padovani!

OMG YUM!, THIS BREAKFAST: Fresh from the oven croissant, beyond crusty & not at all oily, with pleasurably crisp toothfeel (high-quality flour, I am guessing), CRRRRUNCH, the mini-flakes scattered all over my shirt, golden brown & delish. SO FLAVORFUL, you cannot go back to your standard CostCo or Zippy's kind. Even the relatively decent LPalme DOr Patisserie whole wheat croissant at Ala Moana SC seems wussy, cheap, & tissue papery by contrast. Pair with famously hot chocolate (heaven at a high temp) for a $10+ brunch, cosmopolitan Eurosnob style. Honestly one of my candidates for a last meal.
