It was a good experience and great food, big portions, my husband and I shared a plate. Definitely have to try if you’re near by.

I ordered seared ahi tuna. It's hard to explain what’s wrong with a dish, but the quality of the tuna is very questionable. It gave me a sense that steaks were soaked in water forever. I would say it was very low quality. For $30, including tips, I would get a much tastier and better dish at any nearby Japanese restaurant or a food truck.
It is not recommended at all.
Service was quick.

Spectacular. Delicious. Superb. You have to try either the Ahi or Salmon sandwiches.

Listed on yelp as one of the best fish tacos in Honolulu. I wanted one last taste of fish tacos before I head back to the states. The double flower tortillas took over the taco. I couldn’t distinguish the fish inside since it was sandwiched between two thick tortillas and smothered with a ton of lettuce and other veggies. So much so that I couldn’t close the taco (even though the fish was small). The home fries were good but there was also a ton of unnecessary cabbage underneath the taco (like 1/4 lb). It’s an order at the counter and seat your yourself joint with ok views of the sidewalk. Other stuff may be good but the fish tacos are low par.
I walked a couple blocks away for a good send off. All in all, mediocre. Would give 2.5 stars.

It’s been 35mins. No sign of food. There’s one thing to queue up for good food. But really, how much of a wait is there for lunch when there’s little to no crowds?

Went here 4 times while in Waikiki. The food was phenomenal every time. Service was friendly and timely, even when busy we didn't have to wait long for our food. We did manage to get a table straight away every time, so may be an idea to go early/not during peak dinner as there was often a large line when we left.

We ❤️ Paia fish market and always hit the Kihei & Paia locations in Maui. Super excited to see a new location open up in Waikiki. To our surprise, Zucchi took our order and we recognized her from previous visits to the Kihei location. She was sweet as always and made sure we got our magic sauce to take home to Idaho. The fish plate and tacos were tasty & just what we needed after a long day. We love Paia Fish so much, we came back a second time! Line can be long, but is moves pretty quickly. Food quality and price is great in spendy Waikīkī. Thanks again to Zucchi for her hospitality!

Our experience was just under 4 stars.
I had sautéed Ono (nice size piece of fish) and rice and it was pretty tasty. My wife had fish n chips and it didn’t look very appealing. The fish looked like French toast sticks with very dark breading and I asked what kind of fish and they said either Ahi or MAHI. The fish was dry and the breading was significantly under seasoned. My plate was good but unfortunately my wife’s was not and I can’t score just based on my plate.

The grilled salmon is great, the fries are crispy, and the chicken is delicious. If you are interested in fish steaks, I recommend trying it.

I was going to eat it at a restaurant, but to save time and tips, I took it out and ate it at my hotel. The grilled fish is delicious and even kids eat it well. The seafood pasta is also delicious, with lots of fish and other things in it. The fried cuttlefish was so big that I thought it was just a small piece of cuttlefish and it was delicious.

Ordered 2 sauteed snapper and potatoes plates and it was a soggy mess. For $52 dollars for this is a joke.

The Paia Fish Market has the winning formula!! Service with a smile, amazing food and inflation beating prices!!! My husband and I had the best meal there!! Loved the blackened mahi mahi ...melts in your mouth!! The side dishes were tasty too!! Special shout out to Makena who even offered us drinks while we waited in line! We will definitely be back. ..my favorite meal so far in Waikiki!!

While I was on Oahu this restaurant was a must for friends who had been before. One stated "if I told my husband we were eating here every day he'd be okay with it" I ended up going Thursday and Friday and tried the mahi mahi sauteed and blackened. Both were absolutely divine! Paired with the home potatoes and rice and slaw *chefs kiss* just perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly both times we were there and though I didn't deal with the same people they all treated me like family. I felt the spirit of Aloha in my dealings with each staff member. I really appreciate the lovely ladies that helped me while I was waiting for friends to arrive that Friday. Mahalo!
