This is a great traditional local store we've been going for a long time. We already have our regular orders, but most foods here are good and very affordable. Nice and attentive staff. The place does get hot inside and there is no AC.
Kid-friendliness: There is one high chair inside. No keiki menu. They usually bring smaller water cups for keiki.

I wish I had more room in my belly and more time during our trip to revisit Palace Saimin. It was absolutely delicious. Hands down the best saimin I've ever had and I've been fortunate to grow up in HI so I've enjoyed my fair share of Saimin over the years. Thanks for a wonderful experience Palace Saimin! ?

The interior is similar to Kauai's famous restaurant Hamra Saimin. It looked exactly like a local diner, with original goods and an old-fashioned price bulletin board. I had high expectations based on the reviews, but the taste was average. However, in this high-priced state of Hawaii, I thought it was great that the store was able to offer a large saimin at a low price of $7.50!

Noodles eaten in Hawaii. It is said to be a traditional noodle, but it tastes similar to wonton noodles that can be found in China, Japan, and Korea. There are also wontons on the menu, so it seems almost similar. It's perfect to eat when you want to block out a lot of greasiness and relieve your stomach. Parking available.

AMAZING. Simply put you come here NOW and you EAT the food please! Best food I've had all week.
The tap water is very clean and really really good.
We all ordered Wonton Min (Sm $8.75) and here's one of the bowls Wonton Min (Lrg $9.75) I ate.
Parking: There are maybe 6 parking spots in front of the building. Be very prepared to walk if you need to.
Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level and front door is feet from sitting place.

Absolutely delicious. The saimin, the wonton min and the saidon were all good. The saidon is saimin with saimin noodles and udon noodles mixed together. The barbecue sticks are very good as well. Some things to note: no AC, so, if you need AC, you may be uncomfortable. Also, I think they soup stock includes dried fish or other dried seafood. The smell is very strong, so some who dislike that may want to avoid the place. We all loved it.

Palace Saimin has been in business and has been serving the community for over 75 years. Savory broth, chewy noodles, and delectable bbq beef sticks have become a go-to for comfort food in Hawaii. Parking is limited and can be a challenge to find.
Parking: Palace Saimin's parking lot is limited and narrow. It's a 6 stalled lot and there's not alot of street parking.

The lady serving the customer was very friendly. The soup was very light and delicious, but I think it would be even better if I boiled the noodles longer. The customer service was very good, so I was able to use it comfortably.

Absolutely a gem of a hole in the wall. Very different, very basic, nice and cheap, and ultimately really tasty.

Really great hole in the wall place. Food was spectacular! Their menu is small but what they have is all you need. The price is also shockingly low for the amount you get. Can’t wait to come back!
