This place showed up as a coffee shop so I decided to try it, but it is not a coffee shop. The cozy setting at the hotel entrance is nicely decorated and shields waikiki traffic but can’t escape the noise, & it’s one of the worst espressos I’ve had on the island, smarter customers brought their coffees back here. Even the bartender seemed unsure & wary of my order. It’s a little bar, plain and simple.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a bar…

Great little tucked away bar. Atmosphere awesome, open air, great service. We had a quiet table for chat. Great place to strike up a conversation with locals and tourists alike.

Just came for the bloody Mary. The pictures online got us out of our hotel rooms in the rain to walk to the bar. It did not disappoint. Thanks so much!

Best hidden secret in Waikiki. Every single staff member is incredible. Their bar manager, Matthew, is hands down the best in town. Every craft cocktail they make is exceptional, my personal favorites would be the espresso martini and the island punch.

Stopped on our walk back from the glass bottom boat cruise. The bartender Ulia (sp?) Was very friendly and we could tell she loved her job. My wife declared the best margarita she had all year.

It was around 9:30pm, and I was craving a coffee in the area. We stumbled upon this place, and the atmosphere was lovely, with cute decor and nice people. The bartender had amazing customer service and the coffee was sooo good (the coffee tasted great, was not watered down and was strong).

Want some live music and a chill place to eat and drink? The atmosphere was so Aloha, very relaxing. Our bartender Matt was so polite and really helped to bring the whole experience together. Glad I stopped by ? Will definitely be coming back!

Ben the bartender is wonderful! He made me the best espresso martini with an option to add any flavors I would like. And the little hidden tiki area is perfect to get away.

I stayed at the Equus and the Paniolo Bar was right downstairs! It was the best comfy adorable place to get a good standard breakfast. My boyfriend and I went there every morning and the staff was always so sweet and welcoming. During the last four days of our stay, we had this adorable man serve us breakfast. HE WAS SO SWEET! I absolutely loved him! The latte’s were amazing and the dishware was so lovely. All the breakfast drinks were doppio’s so expect strong lattes and macchiatos! It turns into a cute local bar at night. The seats by the pool are also incredible. So comfy, please swing by here when you have the chance!

Sweet little spot, and I hope I don’t ruin it by another good review… but I have visited each cafe within about 400 yards of this spot and found that none of them have the Aloha spirit at all, however, from the moment you meet the barista at Paniolo the staff exude a friendliness that is missing in Waikiki. Ben was manning the bar in the morning, and he was charming each day.The morning Cofee is brewed with a good robusta style bean and the food is tasty, even including a home made breakfast muffin. I won’t visit again the bigger cafes in the nearby hotels, which have few redeeming qualities.
