We got takeout from Pattaya this evening. Everything was just ok. The cashew chicken was very greasy and on the bland side. The papaya salad tasted basically like just plain papaya because it barely had any flavor. The container it came in also had a huge wedge of raw cabbage taking up half the container to provide the illusion of more food but in reality there was very little papaya in the container. The pad thai was ok but not really anything I would go back for. Also, Nothing we ordered came with rice. Since I ordered online it wasn’t clear if it was supposed to come with it or not but I would at least expect it with the red curry.
This restaurant definitely is not worth visiting. Plus for the cost I expected better food.
Not sure if this place is under new management but it was a decent place up until now. The main issue amongst many is for some reason this time there wasn’t enough spice and the food was a little bland so I asked for some chili sauce to-go which I have done plenty of times before (referring to the sauces that are always on the table for customers to use free of charge) the server said they “now” charge to-go customers for the sauces they give other customers for free then mentioned that all Thai places have this rule in place which I know isn’t true because I’m a local I eat Thai food frequently and I’ve eaten here before. A few other things that were upsetting was the fact that my food wasn’t made the way I ordered it (which has happened before) and the staff wasn’t friendly
Not sure what’s the issue is here but it feels like I was being discriminated against so I would watch what you are being charged and how you’re being treated here . The quality has decreased sad to say. I wouldn’t eat here again..there are 50+ Thai places in the same area

One of the better traditional Thai eateries in Honolulu/Oahu. The green curry was very well prepared with a lot of well cooked vegetables. We ordered it in mild and it came with just a slight spiciness and a bit sweet. We also ordered a papaya salad pork belly combo. It was excellent with plenty of green leaves to wrap the pork belly. The seating area was decorated with funky Christmas items as it tried to resemble a street cafe in Thailand (minus the mosquitoes). The service was friendly but very slooooow. It only had two servers for a full house, but in all fairness, it was probably because it was on the day of Christmas. Maybe we will try it again. No parking lot for this place, so it may be difficult unless you eat very late.
Parking: Very limited free street parking as I could see. Maybe there’s a paid lot nearby, but I couldn’t find one.
Wheelchair accessibility: Probably not a good idea as the indoor seating area was tight and the outdoor seating area had an uneven floor.

I've noticed a lot of restaurants on island will advertise heat but then the spice will be mild. Not the case here!

Walked in and ordered red curry with tofu. I got home and it was red curry with chicken. I waited 25 minutes for the order. I’m new to the neighborhood but don’t think I’ll be retuning. Chicken was gross and undercooked. I asked for spicy and there was none.
This place used to be good until they started using imitation crab in their fried rice…

Rather than provide the expected soy milk we were provided almond milk for the same price. Food was great and tasted great but we reluctantly agreed to this substitution.

Went on a Wednesday night so I can't judge the atmosphere but it looks like it would be a cool atmosphere. Besides that, the food was excellent. One of the best thai spots I've ever had. Must try!

This is a Thai restaurant that I went to after visiting nearby Patagonia to see the murals and wanting to try some bread. It's small... but the somtam was amazingly delicious.

This is a neighborhood gem. They've been in the neighborhood for years now, but this location had only been their spot for a couple years now. The food is always 100% delicious. The atmosphere is sorta what you're looking for in a south east Asian joint with authentic flavors. Don't mind the pleather seats or the mis-matching decor. It's perfect. Service is hit or miss, but that's OK, too! I wouldn't bring a first date here, but I would absolutely bring a bunch of friends, especially my food-loving friends. I would definitely bring out of town guests who want something off the beaten path, too.
Parking: Depending on what time you go, street parking is either free, or metered.
