Peace Café is exactly what its name promises — peaceful, cozy, and full of heart. This family-owned vegan spot in the heart of Honolulu instantly felt like home. The staff was so kind, and you can tell everything here is made with love.
I ordered the Heart & Seoul Plate, and it truly lived up to the name — colorful, nourishing, and full of flavor. The textures and freshness in every bite reminded me why I love supporting vegan restaurants that care deeply about what they serve.
The space itself has such a calm energy — soft light, local art, and that comforting island breeze flowing through the open windows. If you’re in Honolulu and looking for a meal that feeds both your body and your spirit, this is the spot.

We were 10 of us vegetarians . Went for lunch . Great food . Disappointed with extremely extremely dirty kitchen, pantry , washing and sink area and bathroom . We all got severe diarrhea next day morning . Owners need to be cognizant of cleanliness- period ! Not sure how Honolulu health department would even give passing marks to this little dirty place ! Writing this review to let owners know so they can be clean .

Apparently this place is closed now? We definitely arrived during business hours per their sign, but the lights are off and no one is home. It's so hard to find good vegetarian options here, and not being able to try this restaurant was a true disappointment.

Great little vegan cafe. Wide range of options for food, drinks, and desserts, all 100% vegan. The Katsu Curry was delicious. Also loved the passionfruit lemonade. Staff are very friendly and even have us some recommendations on local markets and vegan spots.

Amazing little spot. A must-visit in Honolulu!
- The curry katsu was incredible! So many amazing textures and flavors. I wanted to try the tempeh but they were out, but the tofu was great!
- The sample platter was a lot of fun.
- The mochi cake was also great
The theme of the meal was fantastic textures with great variety of flavors. Staff was friendly, and I’d love to try more of the menu!
This place was a trek to get to, (we were near Waikiki) but I'm glad we made the trip. I got the acai bowl, which was lovely but a lot smaller than what I'd expected. My friend got a proper plate of food that was so delicious, we ordered the Peace Sampler after devouring it, leaving my acai bowl for dessert. You should go.

Cute little cafe where all the food is made when you order. Super fresh ingredients. Friendly service. Street parking. I come here for breakfast and lunch. They just started breakfast service and their deluxe pancake was amazing with beautiful fresh fruit in top with vegan butter and whipped cream. I would highly recommend coming here. The menu is big and they even have ramen!
