Manager was extremely rude and didn’t want to give the items they missed on the order. Never been treated like that at a restaurant

Pearl Korean bbq is always good. I have never been disappointed. I usually get the barbecue chicken and the Kalbi. I like to skip the rice and get an extra side dish. I love pretty much all of those side dishes so when I skip the rice I can get more side dishes. I have never eaten in the store because I am not too excited about the atmosphere here.

We are here in Honolulu on vacation and decided to try Pearl's tonight. Everyone in our party (4 people) ordered different dishes so we could share and try a bunch of different stuff. We all thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the service! We will definitely be back the next time we are on Oahu!

Been eating at pearls for years. Still love this place. Food is amazing. Just be careful getting your order from that younger girl with glasses. I’ve had mistakes multiple times when she’s serving my food.

Didn't expect the mall to have such good Korean food. Each plate is enough for two. The beef "jun" was excellent. Sides were great, including kimchi, which was up to Seoul standards on the day I went there.

The seaweed soup is an obscene size of boiling hot water ($17) with garlic. Its just too much. The seaweed was killed in that garlic. Shrimp tempura was great, but I don't get the pairing with white rice. Veggies are good, but I asked for noodles and got veggies instead. I got additional cup of noodles afterward, but they were also obscenely sweet. I can't. I don't know what Korean foods go together. Altogether this was too much food and weirdly paired.

Haven't been to this restaurant for almost 7 years due to my family moving to the mainland. I finally came back & the 1st place I wanted to eat at was Pearls which was my favorite place to eat before leaving. It hasn't changed, food still tasted good. They still give a good amount on the plate. The only thing they need to do is make more of the Potato salad. They ran out 2 hours before closing. I was lucky to get the last of it. I'm pretty sure if I was 1 or 2 people later, I wouldn't have got any. Regardless, Whenever I go back to Hawaii, I will always make it a point to eat there.

It's hard to find this volume at this price these days. And it's too delicious.
