One of my favorite go-to places on the island! The dishes are always tasty and fresh, and I especially love the combination of shiso rice, green salad, and a meat dish. First time at Pioneer Saloon for lunch. Enjoyed the Mochiko Chicken with the Spicy Mayo. Great friendly service. So much yummy selections on the menu. Will definitely eat at Pioneer Saloon more often. I highly recommend Pioneer Saloon.
Got the Mochiko chicken plate w brown rice and ginger tofu salad. The portion of chicken was great. It was hot and perfectly crispy, juicy chunks of thigh. The spicy Mayo dipping sauce it came with was the perfect pairing. Prices were fair, servers were very kind.
