Malasada's are delicious!!!!
Li Hing Mui malasada - 4 stars
Good!
Ube sugar malasada - 3.75 stars
Couldn't really taste the ube.
Overall on the slightly less sweet side compared to Leonard's, and no fillings, but I preferred these slightly.
Easily in the running for the best malasada on the island. Got a regular malasada with powdered sugar and it was hot, fresh, delicious and ready to go in moments. The ice cream was fantastic too, I got the cookies and cream. Exceptional cookie too if cream ratio.
Quick and friendly service, delicious food, and affordable prices. If you want fresh baked food or ice cream, come eat here! I can’t wait to come back.
OMG! I’ve lived here in Oahu now, for exactly two yrs this month, and I had to learn about Pipeline thru someone from a YouTuber!
I got there at 10:30am, Wed the 10th, and a line had formed inside the bakery. I was pleasantly surprised that they sold several different types of desserts, all of them looking delicious. I was focused on the Malasadas. SOFT, PILLOWY, fresh, and delicious! I chose original, cinnamon, and the special of the day, Ube.
What was most impressive was the young girl that moved and took care of everyone, from getting our orders, to ringing up purchased items, to boxing up displayed pastries, to helping a customer with a Pipeline Tshirt ( he didn’t want it because it wasn’t turquoise blue like the display, only white was available. Her name was “TAYLOR” - I know cause I asked what her name was. She took care and handled every customer, every purchase with ease and wasn’t anxious- she was downright nice to everyone. Wow! You guys at Pipeline are lucky to have her! Kudos to you, Taylor, and thank you Piepline for the unforgettable malasadas. Will definitely be my “go to” for pastries! Mahalo🌺!
Admired the cake-bombs in the display case and got a little curious about the malasadas, but in the end I got a take-away dessert (sweet potato/haupia mac nut bar). I bought it in the afternoon and ate it after dinner while watching the sunset in Waikiki. It held up nicely. The crust was delicious.
First time here, and great Malasadas!! ... They make it fresh, and we'll worth the wait!! ... Will be coming here instead of Leonard's ... even has other good looking pastries, cookies, and ice cream ....
Awesome local grinds in kaimuki
Expensive
Great place for malasadas! For originals are nice, but I liked the flavored ones more—specifically I feel like the coffee flavored ones are the way to go. Also got the choclate ones (they mix the flavor into the sugar on the outside) and it didn't taste as chocolaty as I'd hoped. Also got the malasada bread pudding, which was awsome—love malasadas, and love bread puding, so its a great combo (just kinda expensive).
I had such a great memory of eating malasadas at Leonard’s, so I decided to try Pipeline — and this place just became my new favorite spot. The donuts were seriously delicious. Simple, but so, so good. I already want to go back for more.

Tried the malasadas here, fresh, hot, and so good! I also had the ones from Leonard's, and I would say these are at least as good! Definitely not missing out by getting these instead of Leonard's.
Tried the ‘cake bomb’ flavour in chocolate coconut and it was moist and flavourful. Hit the sweet spot!
No help at all abt the mysterious food... no recommend....
I've been here many times before, but today, Wednesday was my best experience with friendly service
Showed up at 11 on Wednesday and they were closed… not sure hours are accurate.
