No longer accepts priority pass. The lounge was alright when I went in the past, but to walk 10 minutes from my terminal to be turned away because of the change wasn’t a great experience.

A nice respite in HNL

Opening hours are 6:30am and at 6:45am they are still closed with people lined up outside. So unreliable.

Limited food, seared ahi, and pulled pork on a Friday evening. Bar has wine and beer only and is self serve.

Uncrowded at 9pm on a Friday evening.

Absolutely the worst Airlines I've ever flown. We paid for first class services and we received second rate service. We were denied the lounge both plumeria and premiere. When we called customer service they told us that the policy had changed and we were not notified nor were a lot of other passengers.. we purchase the tickets prior to that day of October 1 and were still denied. Also when we arrived at the airport our bags were supposed to be taken processed for us. They were not. There were three employees standing out there talking with each other and completely ignored us. I walked up to them and asked for help and they looked at me like I was crazy. Finally one of them came up and did help us. There is so much more to say about how wrong this Airline is but I'm just going to leave it at that I do not recommend flying with this Airlines if you have other options take them.

Utilizing Plumeria lounge as a first class passenger. This is definitely the least impressive lounge I’ve visited in my travels. The hot food provided today is actually pretty good. Beef and rice and chicken gumbo soup. It’s hot in here and they say the AC is on and have fans running but it should be a lot colder than what it is. I shouldn’t be sweating while I’m sitting down. It’s also overcrowded and the seats are not very comfortable. No full bar which is disappointing but they do have wine and beer. Not sure I’ll be visiting this lounge again. They have a newer, bigger one slated for opening in 2027. Hopefully that lounge will be much better.

Small, dark, low ceilinged, sad little lounge with very limited and unappetizing food options. About a quarter of the area, with the most comfortable chairs, is “reserved”; no one sat there during our visit. Instead we all squeezed into little plastic tables. Staff unhelpful and rude (“ you have to put it in exactly”, one snapped to my spouse about the WiFi password, as if he was a moron who’d never logged on before.) Underwhelming to say the least and just barely better than sitting at the gate.

Pretty meh… admit this is my first time in a lounge but I was excited with my first class ticket to finally experience one of these cool airport lounges I’ve seen on YouTube videos… well… it is probably better than the airport… but I definitely wouldn’t pay for the experience.
The staff is nice! The food is pretty meh.
And I really wish there were comfier lounge chairs.

No longer takes priority pass, don’t bother.

Small lounge with limited choices. I got access because I was flying Hawaiian Airlines First Class from HNL to JFK. Unfortunately, it was a terrible “business class” lounge—limited selection and no service. We even had to clear our own plates, dumping the leftovers into a trash can before placing the dishes into bins. The food was mediocre at best. Some alcoholic options but nothing to write home about. The coffee machine is one of the cheapest I’ve seen in any lounge. Hawaiian really needs to step it up, especially since this is their “flagship” lounge at their home airport.

Worst business lounge Ive ever been to. Almost no food, no bread, no snacks whatsoever , berries for pancakes were out nobody restocked them. For hot food they had only pork. Nobody likes pork and it was sitting there looking so unappealing . No point going there

Probably the only place on the island(s) where reception gives you a feeling of good ol' European grumpiness. Feeling home before the 18h trip already.
Still, calm and nicely AC'd, basic but good food.
Service Team is super friendly and forthcoming.

Hawaii Food Reviews

We stopped by both the Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria Lounge (Honolulu) and the Alaska Airlines Lounge (San Francisco) to see what was new after the merger. We were pleasantly surprised to find an upgrade from the usual underwhelming food at the Hawaiian Air Plumeria Lounge. Sorry excuses for sandwiches I'm looking at you. They’ve stepped it up with heartier options and even added one of those fun pancake printers that churns out flapjacks on demand. Finally some real food!

The new spread includes dishes like Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, Miso Braised Pork, and a full Poke Salad Bar. Major improvements from what they used to offer.

We also checked out the Alaska Airlines Lounge in San Francisco and it had a more refined vibe. There was a barista serving up drinks, a full bar, and a solid selection of food and beverages. Yes, they had the pancake printer too.

Both lounges brought something to the table, but if we had to choose, we’d give the edge to the Alaska Airlines Lounge. The Alaska Lounge just hit different.

I'm happy to report that the Alaska Airlines merger with Hawaiian Airlines did bring some positive changes. A new joint lounge is in the works and I can't wait to see what the future brings.

PS: The Plumeria Lounge no longer participates with Priority Pass but it now accepts Domestic First Class passengers. They used to only accept International Business Class or Pualani Platinum members.
