Better places than here for service. Never going out of my way to business with this place.

Ordered Spicy Ahi and Shoyu Ahi. They were both delicious. Only minor comment is that prices are a tad higher than many other poke locations. I would still go back, on the occasion, for some quality poke.

Parking: Plenty of spaces in front of the strip.

Poke was good, but rice was so old and hard. Wouldn't recommend.

My new favorite poke place. Garlic ahi is delicious and cut perfect and the tako is delightful as well. Pickles greens were crisp and complimented the poke bowl. They also make an amazing fresh tuna/salmon salad that taste so much better then canned it’s ridiculous. Thank you for the amazing lunch!

Poke quality is great, but the rice has been sitting out and was hard/crunchy. Definitely would recommend going to foodland over this place.

Overpriced. Website price for Ahi Shoyu is $28.95 per pound. I was charged $32.95. It was too salty. Server was rude and not friendly. Only 5 poke options at 2pm on a Friday. I hate giving bad reviews. In fact, I've only given 2 bad ones in 8 years. We've had 5 poke stops in 7 days. Go to Nico's for their poke sampler for $18. You'll get way better service and better value not to mention great atmosphere.

They’re not kidding. The fish is very fresh and the poke appears freshly made throughout the day. My husband is a bit particular about the fishy smell with some poke but did not feel Poke by the Pound smelled fishy at all.

On our first try, we each got the poke bowl with 2 options so we were able to try the tako, limu, and spicy ahi. We also had a side of the ahi belly. The second time we bought a shoyu poke bowl, and got garlic and spicy ahi by the pound.

I love poke and have it every day when in Hawaii. I feel their fish and poke is much more fresh than others I have tried on the island. Flavors are a great balance (for each poke we tried)-not heavy and not overwhelming, which is quite satisfying.

I felt their poke is good the way it’s made, but there are shakers with furikake, sea salt, and red chili peppers (?) by the register to add if desired. They also sell gingah spread, which I will try next time.

We were both also pretty impressed with the ahi belly. Great flavor and buttery belly (not a heavy buttery feel). Meat not overcooked and still tender. I’m usually dissatisfied with cooked fish but I really enjoyed the ahi belly and will definitely have this again.

I felt the price was appropriate for the quality and freshness.

We came here twice (once around 11:30a and another day around 3:30p) and found parking (free) in the attached parking lot immediately. Establishment was clean. Service was quick and friendly. Downside is that my standard for good poke is now higher.

I’ll be recommending this to my friends and also coming back!

Among the different poke places I tried, this perhaps is the least fancy one. Yet, it is the most authentic and the tastiest one on the island (at least for me thus far). If you are looking for interiors and top notch waiter services, save your time. But if you are looking for fresh food with genuine flavor and local experience with ordinary people, I cannot recommend this little restaurant enough. Be prepared to eat standing as seats are limited. To me that only adds to the experience especially after countless hours flying here ? try it, love it, come back ??

This is mostly a take out joint. They have a few window seats available. The poke here is so good. I highly recommend the garlic ahi. There is parking to the side of the entrance which off of the lot which runs parallel to Nimitz hwy. The service is friendly and fast.
