We were here about 4 years ago, and it was so fantastic. It was the only thing we wanted to do when we came back, we did it early in the day for lunch. They were very welcoming. I had the oxtail soup and it was absolutely fantastic. The best soup I've ever had, the noodles were perfect bite. The broth was wonderful spicy. My wife had the spicy pork also wonderful. The rice is unbelievable. Good, the flavor that they get into these dishes is outstanding. We live in Seattle...
Authentic mom & pop shop for genuine ramen. Huge bowl! It's a small shop like you'd find in Japan...and open late like Japan. Know a hint if Japanese & you'll be fine!
I tried the oxtail ramen here and I didn’t quite like it. The soup was far too salty and oily, and the ramen itself was overwhelmingly salty—it honestly tasted like something from the grocery store rather than a fresh, crafted bowl. The soup base also reminded me of pre-packaged spice mixes you’d find at the store.
On the positive side, the oxtail portion was generous although it’s a bit dry.
