This was absolutely bussin’ had the tofu appetizer and the spicy main and it didn’t disappoint! Paired with 2 beers with a 20% tip came out to $44 which isn’t bad for this area and well worth it. I’m full as tick!

best black tonkotsu ramen I've ever had. For that alone it gets 5 stars.

Had the chicken katsu and curry, it was ok.

Very very quick, had my order in like 2 min

This Ramen spot on Honolulu close to Waikiki is the spot to eat ramen!! It's removed from the city life but easily walkable from Waikiki if you wanted to walk. My husband and I have a spot in Dallas called Hindodeya that we like to eat ramen at and he said that Onoya's Ramen dominated Hindodeya! The broth is rich, creamy, and satisfies the salty savory flavor you look for in a ramen broth. The prices are extremely generous as we both ordered more protein as well as a ramen exchange for the combo. Payment is done through barcode that you receive on your receipt, it's a fast and easy process. Definetly a spot to try, you won't be disappointed. My husband and I ordered the tonkotsu tan tan men and the tonkotsu black rice combo.

The service we had tonight was exceptional! The two men who served our tables were both very friendly, attentive, answered our questions and overall fantastic! I don't have much Ramen experience, but my Tonkotsu Tan Tan was delicious, the Spicy Tina Crispy Rice Appetizer was unreal, and the Takoyaki were surprisingly good! My wife and the Spicy Miso and enjoyed hers as well.

Veg ramen under cooked noodles three cold slice of tofu. Soy milk base. Chil oil thrown in. A spoonful of corn kernels. Edible but a disapointment. To me the under cooked noodles were the worst part. Two bowls $33.00 bucks. Also they don't list the prices of all the menu items. Kinda shady to me as I felt ripped off. Not going back for sure!

Tucked next to a laundromat with minimal parking, this ramen joint is your classic Oahu-style spot—no frills, no fancy decor, just straight-up quality food. It’s always busy, which is usually a good sign, and in this case, definitely is.

The ramen here is one of my favorites on the island. I wouldn’t dare compare it to Japan’s ramen (because, you know, different worlds), but I will say it’s better than the Japan airport ramen I had once 😂. My go-to order is the spicy miso ramen and takoyaki—hits every time.

I live in central Oahu, so making the trek into town means I only get to come here bi-annually, but it’s always worth it. Service is just okay (maybe a .3 deduction), but I’m rounding up because the food deserves five stars.

If you’re craving ramen, I definitely suggest trying it out. Just don’t expect ambiance—expect flavor.

We walked from Waikiki because of the great reviews and were really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, the experience fell short.

Right at the entrance, the hand sanitizer stand was empty, and in the men’s room the automated faucet didn’t work at all—I had to use the women’s room just to wash my hands. Inside, it was about 80°F, which made eating hot soup uncomfortable. The staff mentioned the air conditioning was on, but it clearly wasn’t doing the job. The upholstery on the chairs is coming apart. (See photo)

As for the food, the lunch specials barely offered any savings—ordering from the combo menu was a better value. The ramen bowls themselves were a little smaller than I usually see, and to my surprise, the beef in my ramen was still cold when served.

A little upkeep and attention to detail would go a long way toward improving both the dining experience and the value.

My wife and decided to go to this ramen restaurant even though it was 20 minute walk from our hotel. I'm glad we made the decision to come here. The chicken katsu was amazing! The service was great as well. We will be coming back here to eat again during this trip.

LOVE the spicy tonkatsu ramen here 🤍🤍 The calamari was also delicious! Great service and very sweet staff. They ran out of calamari one time and when we returned they offered to get us a second serving for free, we declined, but it still was a generous gesture🙃.
