Everything we ordered here was excellent. Particularly the Tea Leaf Salad, Papaya Salad, Coconut curry, garlic noodles, pork belly w mustard greens. We ordered 12 different dishes and everything so delicious! Highly recommend.
Food is so good. Nothing like I've ever had. We love ethnic food and this was one of the best. So fresh and the flavors meld together in such a great harmony in my mouth. Made me want to dance! Lots of interesting dishes to choose from on the menu. Just know that prices on the menu might a bit (like $6 for the shrimp as a protein instead of $5 printed on the menu) lower than what was charged so just be aware. Service was good as well. There is a public parking lot close by since the street parking can be challenging.
As a Burmese, the food is a 10/10. Staff are really friendly too ! The Bayar Kyaw almost made me cry, it was so authentic!

All three of us were very disappointed. It was rather dark inside - not good for photo taking. The food was not very tasty. Only the tea leaf salad was good and garlic fried rice was okay. The samusa appetizer came out last.
Service improved now very good, previously sometimes chaotic. Consistent food. Unique salad. A special place.
Excellent food and excellent service thank you very much for great dining experience. Prices are reasonable considering the area parking is available on the street or parking lot for few bucks. Staff is attentive and very helpful.

Favorite dishes are the tea leaf salad with cabbage, the coconut curry (I added tofu), the bread, coconut rice, and basil stir fry (I added chicken). All yummy. We brought our own wine for a $15 corkage fee.
Amazing small restaurant in china town bigger then a hole in the wall and absolutely amazing. First time trying this style food so I asked for recommendations and the waitress did not hesitate or disappoint. She pointed out several of their best sellers and a few of her personal preference so o tried them all with a friend. Everything came out beautifully platted and tasting absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. Did fill up fast during the dinner time frame with a very chill crowd.

The Mohinga was excellent. I'm only in Honolulu for a short work trip, and I'm fighting the urge to go back tomorrow and the next day.

Their food is cheap. Not authentic to Burmese cuisine with certain dishes. They used to make some great food but they've gotten lazy. The only star was the tea leaf salad. The waitress is very rude, older Eastern European lady. I do not recommend coming here. I used to love it.
Updating my review. Has management changed?
We used to love this place, but our recent visit wasn’t great. The service was disappointing—there was one staff member who didn’t even greet us. There were random bags and a hoodie left on the counter, and multiple table towels and empty plastic containers hanging over liquor bottles. The tables were so sticky that napkins tore when placed on them. Overall, the restaurant looked poorly maintained. It’s sad to see these changes.

Absolutely amazing! One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Honolulu. We had the samosa, platha and curry dip, tea salad, Myek noodles and eggplant curry. It all came out really quick and hot. The tea salad and platha / curry dip are not to be missed.
One suggestion I would make is do not order all your food at once because they will bring it all at once. Order your appetizers and salads first and when you’re ready then order your main dish.
