They haven’t been screwing up my food lately which is good lol !
I still come for the prime rib …but my new go to is oxtail stew which they have every Friday. You won’t find that much oxtail for that price any where on island.
The prime rib with king crab kind of isn’t worth it anymore. If you going be that much for prime rib and king crab just go buffet.

There's not enough good things I could say about this hole in the wall. Definitely will need to look past the exterior. It screams mom and pop, your neighbor hood charm with ONO quality food. Always our go to when in town.
I had the best prime rib here.
If you want some ono local grinds, you have to check out this place. They have specials everyday. We love it!!!

This review is long over due I was showing a friend who is visiting Hawaii soon. I went to Ray’s cafe back in March and the food was great! Felix treated us with great hospitality; the food is at a great price. I highly recommend walking over to the souvenir store also it’s down the street, cheapest Hawaiian shirts I found while I was out there! Thank you Felix for the shirt blessings to you

Service is laid back and the atmosphere is very old school but that is what Kalihi is about. The food comes out fast after your order and it is delicious. We went on the wrong day, Wednesday, which is the only no prime rib day. But I have a reason to go back again lol. This place reminds me of the old days, I love it. The owner is very nice and the prices are reasonable. I had the rib eye steak and it was cooked too order. There's always a line at lunch.

Food is always delicious. Large portions. Only 6(?) tables inside. I usually Order ahead & Take out.
If you want to sit inside, avoid lunch hours (11am-1pm). Always meet friendly, interesting people when I can sit inside
