Our server was excellent. She suggested a few meal options. Food did not disappoint. The vibe and decor was trendy & chic. I would definitely go back again!
Well prepared food. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed our meal and was out of the way so a little quieter and not crowded
Great poke bowls, but even better service by Kale! He knows the menu front and back and provides great recommendations. Hands down one of the best waiters I’ve ever had and delicious poke bowls too!
Another hidden gem. At Wayfinder Hotel, a 4-star hotel in Waikiki on the Ala Wai canal. Terrific poke menu with lots of options, but also a full set of pupus and entrees. The Vietnamese ribs are great either as a starter or a full meal. Will be back.
Last week we ate at this restaurant for my birthday and I like it so much that we came back tonight and we brought a friend that's visiting Hawaii, we all love the food and the service was always great
The food was good, decent poke and lots of other options for people who don’t eat raw fish. Pretty bad experience with our waiter though. All but 1 in our group ordered a beer with our lunch and the waiter pressured our last friend who just got water to order one. He declined. When the waiter brought out our drinks, he brought a half glass of beer for our friend and joked “nobody likes a quitter.” Pretty messed up to do that especially without knowing the circumstances of why someone isn’t drinking.
-Restaurant closes at 10
-I arrived at 9:21
-I was informed last seating is at 9:15.
-I asked to order food to go.
-They said they could not do that
…… just say that you are closed at 9:15 if you can’t sit or order food after 9:15 otherwise, I would not have Ubered over.
Guy at the front was very nice though
We were very excited to try the poke flights at this restaurant. However, we were sadly very disappointed with the food and service. In our party of 4, every poke entree was extremely salty to the point where we could not fully finish our meal. The waitress was made aware of this, and responded with an apology, but did not take further action apart from stating that there was a new chef in the kitchen. The lack of empathy from the waitress was truly appalling, without offering to help remedy the situation in any way. We are very disappointed with our experience here and would not recommend after this unfortunate mishap that was not taken seriously by staff.
Loved it ..hands down best Poki freshness you can taste plus the Staff was super cool 🙂👍🌺 Highly recommended!!
The overall experience was extremely poor. Had high hopes for this poke spot given it is affiliated with Foodland but the vibe was not it. We waited over 45 minutes for our drinks, food for our family did not come out at the same time, and our waitress kept shouting at all of us every time she would come to our table. For a $500+ dinner, we expected a much better experience than this. My family are locals and my husband and I bring our kids back every year to visit. To say this was an extremely disappointing experience doesn't even begin to describe this place. Save yourself the time and money and get poke from Foodland yourself or stay more in the heart of Waikiki.
Restaurantji Recommends
Fresh fish on top of tasty rice dish. Food was excellent. Off the beach so not crowded. If you're looking for great food, low key, high value for the buck, I would recommend.
This is a hidden gem away from the hustle/bustle of Waikiki ! It's near Ala Wai on a quiet street, inside the Wayfinder Hotel. It was relatively quiet when we got there; service person was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine served at the restaurant. She gave us great suggestions regarding food choices! Food was well presented and equally delicious. This is a place I would not considered had I not checked it out on Yelp! Would definitely return!!
Fantastic meal and service. The Poke was DELICIOUS and our waiter, Kale and staff had great suggestions. Casual, island restaurant with top notch food and drinks.
Worst food I had in Honolulu. Avoid. Food was tasteless and inedible. I never write harsh reviews but hoping to save someone else the money I wasted here.
The hostess needs to be replaced. She was argumentative, and lacked friendliness. This is not the person you want representing your restaurant. This ruined our overall experience. None of the service staff appeared happy. Food was descent. Good for make your own poke bowl but that's about it.
