I had so much fun. Our waitress was so friendly and checked on us regularly. We tried the Pele's kiss which everyone enjoyed. We can't wait to go back.

The "Bar" is wonderful, but the "Grill" is much more wonderful! A few of my favorites are the bao buns, poke, bone marrow, and fried rice, to mention just a few items. The place has new proprietors, a beautiful atmosphere, an upscale drink menu, and excellent grinds. Absolutely not to be missed if you're in the Ala Moana neighborhood!

Amazing food with local twists, ingredients are always fresh! A great array of drinks where you can find your favorites along with their take on classic drinks, try the Pele's kiss. It's delicious and obviously Instagram worthy! Great vibe, super clean and staff is really nice. Good place to unwind after work or party with friends.

Covid safe as there is no one there. However, service was extremely disappointing considering no one was there. Wait staff did not pay attention to guest and was occupied with their friends at the bar and by the time Drinks were received, the ice sat in the shaker too long and the drink was watery. The lack of attention and urgency to service was disappointing as there was not one thank you for leaving a tip out of kindness, as It is important to support local business. Pass up if you like costumer service.

The truth is I love this place. The bartenders are extremely good at their craft and friendly. Strong drinks. But they're often CLOSED on key nights (like Saturday nights!!) for private parties. It's too bad because, now I don't even bother trying to see if it's open and just try to find somewhere else more reliable.

The news owners...all women I hear...have got it going on! Good food. Creative drinks. Keep it going ladies!

Tonight was interesting. The food is ok, not great, edible but not really seasoned. At the end of the night the bartender came over and asked if we wanted to buy her a shot. We agreed and said, "Ok, but can we close out?". She then gave us a bill for her shot and one for her friend. I am not sure what is going on in this business but be careful here. They also keep the lights on at night saying they don't trust the customers. We're local and go to a lot of local bars. This place is different and was much better when it was the Mixx.

I know this phrase has been coined by Olive Garden, but "when you're here, you're family" should be owned by Remixx. My husband and I strolled in here one evening to watch the Lakers game and they graciously changed the channel for us tourists. We started off with some drinks and food and as the evening progressed, we realized that we didn't even watch the game because we were having so much fun with the patrons and the staff. This bar is unassuming and located right across the street from Nijiya market by the Ala Moana mall. It's definitely a local bar, I didn't see a lot of tourists besides us and it seemed like it was filled with regulars who knew everyone who was working, but we were still treated as though we were regulars. Aside from the service, the drinks are great. Can't complain about a cocktail that tastes good and will give me a good buzz. The food is AWESOME. They get their bread from a local bakery and it was the fluffiest bread I've ever had, it was almost like eating cotton candy but with more chew (I swear it's a positive thing). I got the corned beef fried rice with a sunny side up egg *chefs kiss*. I don't even know what my husband ordered because he ate it all so quick haha. I wish I had pictures, but I guess I ate the food before I remembered to! I will definitely be coming here every time I come to Hawaii and telling everyone else about it too.

Yummmmmm!!! Why haven't I been here before? I've passed this joint probably a hundred times to many. So it's off the corner of piikoi; directly across of Ala Moana shopping center. Lots of street parking (Sunday is free) back parking not so much... Anyway, space is a bit small since tables are spaced out. Temp checks and signing in enforced. Better off making a RSVP so you're guaranteed a spot. Small dart area with a small lounge with couches. Karaoke is in effect. $2.00 per song. Music on rotation was a good mix (at least tonight was) Now to the good part, drinks and fooooodddd!!! Gosh, one word! Worthy!!! I was afraid to order my old-fashioned due to the fact that most establishments don't know how to make one correctly. But damn' on point!!! Their drink menu has some interesting originals that I would definitely try if I didn't have such a far drive. Definitely next time. Food was a party in my mouth! From the bone marrow (enough to spread on 4 PCs of bread), to the truffled steak (juicy, tender AF, to the baos to the fries... oh the ahi poke was soooo bomb, we ordered it twice along with the steak LOL All I can say is I'm impressed and I want to go back like ASAP!

We held a private baby shower party at the Remixx Bar & grill this past weekend. Tasha, who is a friend of mine and owner along with her partner, Mariah. It was my first time visiting this beautiful bar located on 434 Piikoi street. It is not hard to find and there were lots of parking available in the back and also on the streets are metered parking. We catered food from their menu. The food was Ono, the staff were great and super friendly. Music was available through touch tunes so it was nice to be able to select our songs. Lots of space to practice social distancing. Love the photo op backdrop. We had a really great time and didn't want to leave but there was another private party after us. Definitely will be back!! Great place to unwind with good company and beautiful venue to host private events. Thanks Tasha!

Another night at the bar. This weekend wasn't as packed surprisingly. But i like it when there's space to move around. I came out here for one of my home girls birthday party! It was very casual and the staff reserved four tables for her party which was great. They also change a few fixtures which i actually liked too. As usual, i like to start with parking. But first, if ever you plan to go the Remixx coming from the freeway, I'd suggest exiting Kinau st. And making your way towards Pensacola st. And THEN take your left turn (by Inspiration furniture store) on Kapiolani blvd... stay on your farthest right to make a Right turn on Piikoi st. And then you'll find a remixx business front entrance... side street parking is available but always a gamble obvi. However, if you pass Remixx front entrance and take a Right turn (like you were headed towards ward/ Nordstrom Rack/South shore marketplace), there's a private parking lot when you make the first right after passing the front doors! Park anywhere as you please but please do be courteous and give leeway or space for others who'd love to come too! :) I came in and they took my temperatures the door including my info of where i live (covid rules). My friends were already here and there you go... i already had a Long Island iced tea clearing for me lol. I didn't take much pictures of the food and drinks but i must admit that their steak, sashimi, edamame, and truffle fries are alwaysssss good, especially if you are drinking and you want to eat light (or pupu style) as time passes. For the most part, i enjoyed their Long Island iced tea as it was perfectly mixed (not too strong and not too sober-tasting haha). We got shots of patron with lime and black salt on the rim for atleast every 30 minutes (gosh i was not sober anymore lol). We played darts too which was fun! I met a few new friends that night as well! The bathrooms are clean but with the space, i still hope that they create another stall hopefully. Other than that, it was a fun a** night like it always is at Remixx! If you are okay with socializing, compliance to covid rules, drinking, eating pupus, and just kicking back, Remixx is the bar for you.

This place has the best atmosphere! Not only is the service amazing but the food is absolutely delightful! They have vegan and non vegan options, and the menu is full of amazing choices. The fried rices are to die for! You will not regret coming here I promise!!!

Love the new look and set up! Didn't know the bar had new owners and a new menu. The food was ono but the portion was very small for the price you pay! Hopefully they make some changes! I've been going there for years!

The renovated Mixx Bar & Grill is the bomb! The refreshed look is a step above other bars and the updated menu is ONOLICIOUS.
