The food was beyond words!! EVERYTHING was awesome!! The pad thai was my personal favorite, full of flavor! If you’re not a fan of spice, make sure to ask for them to dilute the spice a bit (it helps!!). The buttermilk fried chicken was excellent.
The mochi samples were great, my favorite being the chocolate, but all of them were surprisingly really good!!
AMAZING service. Our server, Derek, was so polite and friendly and made the experience even more enjoyable.
The dishes have fun food flavors that play with your taste buds! Overall, this is a very unique and underrated restaurant that I would recommend to any vacationers or locals!!

Food here is excellent. Best chicken pad Thai I've ever had. Also one of the cheapest meals we've had on Oahu and cheaper than Maui.

our company team of food snobs from SF and NYC came here very coincidentally and left WITH OUR JAWS ON THE GROUND at the quality of the $65 prixe fixe menu. the A5 wagyu. the mochi brown butter bunny dessert. the fried chicken. the hamachi collar. we needed a wheelbarrow to get me out of there. RUN, don't walk to this restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised by how incredible this place is! The food is unbelievably good—I had the pre-set menu, and every dish was exceptional. The service was fantastic as well. I’ll definitely be returning!

Solid experience for a nicer but not fancy restaurant, and they take a space that's literally a rectangular cube inside and give it some character.
Korean fusion lumpia, beef salad, fried chicken were all very good to excellent, the rest not quite up to the same standard. Bunny mochi is fun but not something you need to have more than once.

Sous chef Derek waited on our table and describe all the dishes on the price fix menu. Amazing flavors well matched 9 course meal. An explosion of taste in generous portions. Recently remodeled from the entry way, floors, walls, and ceilings... beautiful. VERY affordable.

Everything from the bar program to the entrées were over-the-top incredible. The food is highly inspired and well-executed. We ordered everything on the menu and somehow, it was all stand-out dishes back-to-back. The servers and foodrunners are also the cooks and sous chef, making them the most qualified people to speak about the menu. I’ve never left a review before but felt compelled to sing my praises for this place. The yuzu Old Fashioned cocktail and fried chicken were the stars of my experience.

Ate here maybe 2 years ago and forgot to write a review until my wife reminded me just now of the picked jalapenos from my meal here and I figured I'd make sure I wrote a review for it!
When eating my meal there was a small side of sweet pickled jalapenos that I absolutely adored and asked for more of during the meal. After they came out with a heaping condiment container of it for me I asked if I could straight up buy some of it off of them because I liked it so much.
The chef came out and offered some ridiculously low price for a large container of it. I think he offered it for something like $5 which I felt was underpriced but he wouldn't accept more money for it. I felt it was worth at least $20 so I added an extra tip to the meal.
During that trip I bought an insulated bag and an ice pack to bring it with me back home. I ended up eating it slowly over the course of a couple of weeks with my sandwiches and burgers.
It's probably not worth getting it shipped from Hawaii, but if you ever make a restaurant with them in the mainland ideally in California let me know!
