The only authentic Peruvian chicken to be found in Hawaii, located in the heart of Honolulu. The skin of the chicken is flavorful and perfectly spiced, and the yellow sauce that accompanies it (aji amarillo?) has a gentle bitterness that cuts through the fattiness of the delicious skin. I like that the exterior of the chicken has no burnt quality to it, and you can tell that great care went into regulating the cook of the meat because the chicken itself is really soft and juicy. The plate includes a good portion of long-grain white rice that is nice and fragrant. The owner-chef Carlos is very kind. BRING CASH.
Located alongside the South King Street-side of Moiliili Neighborhood Park, just before Longs. I just pulled up to the street parking adjacent to the park, got my plate, and was on my way. It was very easy.
Got the half chicken plate. Moist and delicious. Hot sauce is pretty good. Love it. Lots of rice
Wow. That's some really good chicken. Friendly owner, great food, and well priced. A real neighborhood gem! Will definitely be coming back.
Only real Peruvian chicken spot on island or all the islands actually. This truck should have way more reviews/recognition.
Very delicious, highly recommended!

Such an unassuming truck I almost missed it! Only options available were half and whole, no quarter. Delicious huli huli chicken with a Peruvian twist. The chicken was charred to smoky perfection while still remained tender and juicy. The Peruvian twist were the strikingly umami, peppery, and herbaceous flavors infused in the chicken. The mustard sauce was a great addition to balance the dish's intensity with some creaminess.
The tastiest chicken on the island… you only need fries and chicha morada to accompany

Mi family love it! The best chicken in the island. Rico rico en verdad!
Mannnn! I can't tell everyone enough how delicious their chicken. I have eaten here well before Covid started. The meat is so tender and moist! The flavor is just so well balanced with the right saltiness and aroma from the herbs. The sauce is pretty good as well. The sauce is buttery and has a little kick like mustard but not spicy at all.Worth every penny! Get the whole chicken so you can save for later or share with family or friends.Recommend you place an order beforehand because it sells out quick. The owner wants to make sure everything is fresh and tasty so order through the phone.
