We love Robaya for happy hour. Quiet, great time for conversation. The food is awesome. And the service, professional and friendly and lovely.
The food was very good, but I would be hesitant to return based solely on the poor service. Our waiter forgot plates, brought stuff to us out of order, and at one point came back eating food with her mouth full. It is a shame because the food was original in flavor and presentation was lovely.
Jinya's Nigiri Lover is a standout—fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. Great value for the quality you get.
The customer service and dishes were excellent at Robata Jinya. We had the Crispy Chicken Wings, Eggplant with Miso, Hamachi Kama, Yellowtail Jalapeno, Matcha Tiramisu and Black Sesame Pudding.
Fantastic restaurant - the ambiance was super chill and the food was fantastic. All the sushi was fresh and delicious- service was prompt and the kids meal was the perfect mix for our kiddos first foray into sushi.
Our server Victoria was the best waitress ever. Not only did she wait on us with an energetic spirit and smile, she made all the recommendations which we loved. We had one in our party that has a shellfish allergy. She made sure that there was absolutely no cross contamination in the kitchen. Give her a raise!!!
Kenny provided excellent service, and manager Jason G. made us feel welcomed as always. The "Taste of Ward" special menu was outstanding, and exceeded our expectations. Jason told us about the new 9-piece Sashimi Moriawase which we ordered, and it was excllent. We always feel welcomed, and extremely valued as guests at Jinya Robataya. Mahalo, R & L M.
We were 4 people - $120 / person omakase experience . Was awful and expensive. Quality of food was very poor and Service was awful. If you serve omakase you should put priority on quality and service .. how can you compete with other restaurants when you can't deliver even average food quality .. literally awful tasting menu.. we all took one bite of each and wanted to abort and leave . I usually don't write reviews but this was so bad that I had to write one .. not sure how long this restaurant will survive if they don't step it up not by a little but by a lot .
One of our favorite restaurants! The food is always delicious and service is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the Signature Omakase for our anniversary dinner. Our only issue was with the lighting in the restaurant. It was very dimly lit and hard to see our food as it was being served. The little candle light on the table wasn't bright enough. A little brighter lighting in the restaurant or maybe larger lanterns on the tables would be appreciated.
Been coming here for a few years. It really fell off. Everything has kind of changed and the quality is a lot lower than just even last year. Will probably not return.

Kenny was AMAZING!!! He made everyone feel special, especially the birthday girl who has food allergies. He was very helpful in guiding us through the menu to create a delicious meal for everyone on the table!
It was happy hour all day which seemed like a nice surprise but ended up being not so nice since sushi was really backed up and we ended up ordering many dishes not on the happy hour . We waited too long for our food for the price we paid . But lucky for those that just order from the happy hour menu. Waiter was very pleasant.
Kenny was an exceptional server! He checked on us frequently and gave great recommendations.
Decided to go foe happy hour here and we had a great experience. Server was awesome, food came out quickly, and everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. We'll come back again for sure!
Went in for the $120 signature omakase, but was able to upgrade to the 22 course $140 omakase. Service was 11/10. The execution of most dishes were excellent. 4 out of 22 were short in our opinion where we felt they tried too hard to maybe give value in exclusive ingredients but their renditions overpowered the main ingredient. Still a great experience overall as some of our favorite dishes were not the sushi dishes. We will go back to try the sushi only selection in the future. See you guys soon
