Uber Eats to Pagoda Hotel - Ordered Half & Half Katsu/Kalua Pork, katsu musubi and side of mac. Received Katsu (great) and Pork and Cabbage (not so great).I'm leaving the best surprise for last. Long brunette "hair" found in Mac side making it unpalatable. Rongquing was excellent in his delivery. YUCK!

L&L Hawaiian BBQ is located in the upper level food court with all the other fast food restaurant. When we went on Sunday evening, it was very busy and there was a line up to order food. We ordered the Hawaiian mixed platter and a drink which came to $30. The platter came with 2 scoops of rice, grilled meats, and we changed the default macaroni salad to a green salad. Meat was very chewy but flavour was on-point. You really need your hands to eat the meat off the bone. As a non-local, I enjoyed this much more than the Rainbow Drive-In’s mixed platter.

BBQ mix and seafood mix. The meat is tough. The taste is normal. The fried fish and shrimp are delicious. Comes with tartare. Satisfied with the quantity.

This is L&L in the food court on the second floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center.
Garlic shrimp and steak set for $25? I asked for it!
It was perfect for two people to share!
I ordered the steak medium rare. The seasoning was modest and I felt it was a bit salty, but it was delicious. The garlic shrimp had a shell and was fragrant and delicious (^^)

This place sits in a food court. The prices of the dishes are $2-$3 more than the other locations. Kalua Pork is fantastic. Katzu is also delicious. Moco Loco is sad AF. Would never get it again. But, otherwise it is delicious.

I got the chicken Katsu for lunch yesterday, 8/19/24, and woke up this morning at 4 am with the worst food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. I felt like something was off when I bit the chicken and my stomach immediately got a little upset, so I stopped eating. Unfortunately those few bites led to me spending today camped out on the bathroom floor. Wouldn’t recommend.

We also had the regular breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon, good bacon quantity

Ordered a chicken and salad sandwich. Turned out to be a burger. Not a sandwich. It had tasty teriyaki chicken inside but not what we expected. Was hoping for a standard healthy version of a chicken salad sandwich. Located in a busy food court.

Lady in short hair was very rude to her employee, we kindly asked the cashier if we chose the Hawaiian mix plate if she can swamp a meat for a different one. Lady in short hair rudely and IN FRONT of customers snapped at the cashier because she couldn’t figure out what button to press. She got irritated and told us no which was okay with us, however we felt very uncomfortable being in that position where we literally witnessed her snap at the cashier. Food was meh too. She ruined our experience trying out an L&L’s. Yall know who she is if you do stop by. Don’t come here and TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! ?

This was a quick grab while we had no time to dine in, and they seemed to have Hawaiian cuisine options that attracted me to this fast food chain.
I wouldn't call it the best, but it's worth the time and money. The garlic shrimp was yum. They were rich in garlic and all meals come with a scoop of rice n Mac.
When you are running late for a reservation, this quick stop is worth trying.
