We ate here after a long day of travel as I suddenly craved for a hawaiian bbq. This store is located in the food court of Royal Hawaiian center. Service was fast and portion was reasonable for the price. Taste was really good. However, the bbq short ribs was alil hard, it was difficult to cut with their plastic fork. Ramen tasted ok too. The chicken katsu was crispy and flavorful. The katsu sauce balanced the flavor. Nevertheless, I recommend this place for some quick bbq fix.

Loco moco is a type of dish with a light gravy sauce. The saimin was also light, but the ingredients were solid, so it was satisfying to eat.

Pleasantly impressed by this food court fast food chain at the 2nd floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center. I recommend the mixed plate with lightly sweet marinated chicken, kalbi, and steak. Think Korean style sweet flavored meat. You can opt for salad or macaroni salad and comes with rice. The garlic shrimps are good but fried. I was expecting the North Shore sautéed style so this one doesn't have the garlic butter sauce over the rice. It's more of an Asian style garlic pepper style shrimps. Remember to get your parking validation. Fast service and plenty of self service tables.

If you like greasy flavorless meat served in a food court this is the place for you there is a reason it's the worst L&L on the island.

We wanted to try the, fairly new, L & L at the Royal Hawaiian Center Waikiki. Basically, all L & L's are all created equal but newly opened L & L's are on top of their game. First thing we noticed was the difference in price's compared to other L & L's in town. We just wanted to warn folks to be aware that it's higher priced. We decided on the Kailua Pork and Cabbage. The team members seem to work well together and were courteous. The orders were coming out of the kitchen pretty quick for an L & L. We only waited five minutes for our take out order. When we were handed our food we noticed it was heavy for a single plate lunch. We got our grub home and opened the container and it looked / smelled great. The portion size was huge as you can see in the photos. The rice was cooked properly and fresh. I would imagine they go through a lot. The Macaroni Salad was really good. Mac was cooked just right with a very flavorful dressing. We actually like it better than Rainbows. The pork was so moist and tender with just a hint of smokiness. The cabbage really cuts the saltiness of the pork and gives the dish a lighter flavor. So, in closing, we can say it was a really good experience at L & L at Royal Hawaiian Center. We will definitely return for other local dishes they offer.

Didn't eat here. But first hand saw a male employee use and then leave the restroom without washing his hands. He then entered the back door to the restaurant and then saw him in the kitchen area.

I had the Hawaii mixed plate (Waikiki). For the price point and quality --- it is bad bad ... nothing good to talk about at all. Go across the street and have some ramen would have been better.

It is not easy to find a parking deal in Waikiki, which I had noticed on online about the Royal Hawaiian Center offering a 3 hours free parking for locals if you spend $10 at least, and 1 hour to others. So I had decided on having my meal there at the Royal Hawaiian Center Foodcourt and have the free parking for 3 hours, which I had decided on L&L Hawaiian BBQ. I had ordered BBQ Chicken and as expected it was good. The meat was juicy and not dry and the seasoning was just perfect. The macaroni salad turned out good also. The quantity was a lot also and I think I will order the mini plate next time. Yes, they gave a lot. Considering that the only free parking are some distance away and the least expensive is at the Zoo that charges $1.50 per hour, I do believe that the food can be considered to be cheap when you take in the consideration that the cheapest parking cost of $4.50 at the Zoo if you happen to need a parking in the middle of Waikiki, which parking at the Royal Hawaiian Center is convenient also.
