Disappointing experience, especially given the nearly $300 bill for two people. I'm a returning customer and previously loved the short rib, but this visit was very different. While the plates were extremely hot, the food itself was cold, as if it had been sitting too long. I treated my brother to dinner and his 8oz filet mignon had the same issue. Unfortunately, dessert didn't redeem the meal — the ube in the Halo-Halo was frozen solid. I rarely complain, but for the price and reputation, this was a letdown. I hope this location uses the feedback to improve.

Roy's is a standard for a Hawaiian experience. Very consistent dishes across our visits in the past. The ribs are a favorite of the group but mine was the Kanpachi crudo. Entrees we tried Chinese style steamed snapper, 2 sushi rolls, tofu yaki and a Caesar salad. Service is attentive and friendly. Signature cocktails are a must. Let Them know if it's your birthday. Special dessert!
