you want a perfect bar experience at the Sheraton, stop everything and go straight to RumFire — and make sure Bart is behind the bar.

Bart is, without exaggeration, phenomenal. Warm, attentive, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. From the second we sat down, he made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely taken care of. He didn’t just make drinks — he crafted experiences. Every recommendation was spot-on, every cocktail was flawless, and his energy elevated the entire evening.

What truly sets Bart apart is his authentic hospitality. He anticipates what you need before you ask, explains drinks with enthusiasm, and treats every guest like a VIP. You can tell he loves what he does, and that joy spills into the atmosphere of RumFire. The bar felt alive, fun, and effortlessly upscale because of him.

RumFire is already stunning — ocean views, ambiance, and great food — but Bart is the heartbeat of the place. He turned a great night into an unforgettable one and is the exact kind of professional every resort should be proud of.

Sheraton, take note: Bart is a star. If you’re lucky enough to sit at his bar, you’re in for something truly special. We’ll be back specifically because of him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — and honestly, more if we could.

Arrived early at opening to secure a dinner spot with a beachfront view, but was instead seated in the worst part of the patio with minimal views of the water when the patio was nearly empty for hours. Poke nachos during happy hour had certain pieces of tuna that smelled and tasted fishy. Gave us food poisoning the same evening and an intense stomach flu a few days after. Be aware of the poke! Fish was not fresh.

I've been on this island for 3 short military stops (less than 36 hours) made a visit each time. Mai Tais are perfect for $19, the Strip Steak was $55 and delicious. High quality spot/bar atmosphere for people watching and sunsets.

The bar was empty and they sat us at the worst table. Poke was off and tasted super fishy. Will not be back.

We ate here on vacation, and Kumi our server was the most kind, genuine, and hard working person. She made our experience so great, having service like that makes you happy. I wish every server was like Kumi. We will come back again to see her.

Wish I could give the atmosphere a higher score!!! Food was incredible. Of all the places my husband got daiquiris, this was his strongest recommendation

Great outdoor dining experience on the beachfront in Waikiki! Try the Fish Tacos and the roasted Brussel Sprouts! Get there before sunset!😎 It's worth it!

Stopped here when we arrived. They were really busy and it looked like they only had one server. We ate inside the lounge area. The Mai Tai was not bad, but the mahi bowl was not good. The fish was not seasoned, and very dry. The bowl needed almost like a vinaigrette to tie it all together. I know mahi is hard one to cook but this was just not good. We were so hungry that we ate it, but didn’t eat there again. Our server was over extended but did his best which we appreciated.

Came here for dinner overlooking the ocean with the fire pits and live music. 5 stars all around. The place is a such a vibe, it didn not require a reservation. The server was so kind to recommend new dishes for me to try and experience here only in Hawaii. I would go back often if I had the money and luxury to do so. The only thing to nation about this place is that it was difficult to find by walking because it’s inside the Sheraton hotel.

In town for a conference and this restaurant hit the spot. Fresh seafood and strong Mai Tais, you cannot go wrong with RumFire.

Our second time staying at the Sheraton in Waikiki and we finally went to Rumfire last night as theyre pretty pricey. We ordered the dynamite chicken karaage and the crispy chicken tenders.. Absolutely terrible. The chicken tenders looked like they came out of a supermarket freezer and warmed up. I have pictures, I wish I could post them. The chicken karaage is just more clumped up store bought frozen/reheated chicken with sauce dripped over them. Around $30 for each dish. We will never go back here.
