Had a great dinner at Ruth's Chris. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food came out hot, cooked well, and everything tasted great. The lamb chops, filet, and sides were all flavorful and enjoyable. Paired with good drinks, it made for a really nice night. I'll definitely be back.
One of our rib eye steaks turned out to be medium well (medium was ordered) and another was medium (medium rare was ordered). The table side service was good but the wait time for serving the main course was long.
We can always count on Ruth's Chris for celebrations and regular dining. This time was a birthday dinner and we had rib eye and filet mignon, good wine, and a special seasonal dessert...carrot cake that was the best ever! Our servers were attentive, friendly, and professional. There was an awkward situation where a man was discussing with his dining partner his long medical history with details, in a loud voice. It became very uncomfortable for us - distracting and not something that anyone would want to hear during dinner or have it be part of their birthday celebration. The staff handled it so graciously once my dining partner asked for another table and explained why. They immediately and discreetly escorted us to another table where we were very comfortable.
Delicious food, great staff, ... overall great experience! We booked through OpenTable and for some reason our reservation did not go through. They were very accommodating and quickly found us a table.
Been here 30+ times, by far the best it's ever been. They were slipping a bit in 2021/2022 and we've dropped the frequency of our visits, that's over now. That was a 5 star dinner last night Nov 2025 Ruth Chris is fully back. David our waiter was Tier 1 phenomenal. Food i couldn't speak any higher of, absolutely amazing. Going to start coming monthly again.
I have been going there for many years and have always been very satisfied with the food and service. So many special occasions!
Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We will come back soon for sure.
Celebrated my husband's 50th birthday. We had a wonderful experience. Fillet, cowboy ribeye, lobster were all cooked to perfection. The apps and sides didn't disappoint either. That carrot cake is amazing and highly recommend.
10/26/25 @ 4:00p - Exemplary service. The 11 oz. Filet Mignon was ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly. The Sweet Potato Casserole with a pecan crust was divine. The crème brûlée and chocolate sin cake did not disappoint and paired well with coffee. Although known for their excellent Ribeye, ours on this occasion was not as thick and a bit salty. Otherwise, it was an excellent meal. Currently has Fall specials and a happy hour menu as well. Restaurant validates parking ticket up to 3.5 hours for the Waterfront garage. If any issues, press button for parking attendant. Note: Suggested tip is calculated after tax and this is noted on the bill. Excellent for special occasions.
We always enjoy a meal at Ruth's Chris. We have eaten at this location several times and always end up in the front of the restaurant. Last night we were in a different section and we really enjoyed it. It was busy (we had a reservation), and it looks like they were using the private rooms for couples and small groups. The result felt like a private dining experience. It was quiet, the wait staff was very attentive and polite, and everything was perfect.

We dined here on Friday night as a family of four and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We started with the shrimp cocktail, which was fresh, chilled perfectly, and absolutely delicious. For entrées, I had the New York strip steak, perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly to my liking, and my husband ordered the cowboy ribeye, which he said was outstanding and even better than some of the other steakhouses in town. I really appreciated that they offered a gluten-free menu, which made ordering much easier for me. I do wish there were a few more options or modifications available to make some of the appetizers gluten-free. Overall, the meal was excellent and the service was top-notch. We'll definitely be back!
They were very accomadating. I forgot to tell them we had a stroller and they moved our table so we'd have space for it. Our waiter, Casey was very attentive and as always the food was amazing.
Ruth's Chris is my family's go to for birthday and special occasion dinners. My children (12 and 17) have been enjoying their dining experiences here since they were both 5yrs old. So it comes to a surprise that this particular experience celebrating my son's 12th bday was not the ideal. And it pretty much was because of the poor seating assignment. This was not a very last minute reservation. Short, but no last minute, online request for a booth 2 weeks prior for a Thursday night at 5pm. This booth table should not even exist in the restaurant. It was so dimly lit. Lit by only one LED table faux candle. My kids were yawning due to the bed time ambience. It was so dark!!! If I want to be incognito to hide some shady shenanigans at dinner and bump my childrens' legs under the table then this table would Be the choice, but not for a family dinner to celebrate a 12yr old. We needed head lamps but basically used our phones to read the menus so we were not staining our eyes. There was no over head light fixture. And the table was slanted. I kid you not. Slanting. Not what you'd expect from a fine dining steak establishment. Food is always consistently good. Otherwise why would I come back. Service by our young and capable server was standard enough. But the table!!! I mean who likes to eat their fancy dinner basically in the dark!!! Steak houses are known for low lighting, but this was extreme. We're good people. We don't like to make a fuss or scene or demand things in restaurants. But maybe we shouldve this time. We were done with dinner by 7pm and the whole time there was an empty crescent shaped ample lit booth in direct view from me across the room. No one was seated there the whole time. Could it have been our table instead? Easily. We still had to wait a few minutes when we checked in before we sat at the horrible table we did, so I think it would've been reasonable time for staff to turn it over for a 7pm reservation. The WORST table ever. Get rid of it
We celebrated my husband's birthday on the last night of our Hawaiian vacation. As we have always experienced at other locations, our meal at this Ruth's Chris was exceptional and the service provided by our server, David, was top-notch. We can always count on Ruth's Chris to make our special occasions even more memorable. Thank you, David, for helping to make our evening so great.
It's been a few years since eating at this location. It was everything I expected and a bit more. Thank you for always having exceptional service and quality food.
