Tried calling the restaurant using the phone number listed and the phone number is no longer in service. What happened to the new owners of the restaurant? One YELP review said that they took over the business in January 2019. Did the new owners take over/purchase a restaurant that wasn't doing well in the first place? Are they closed for good? The last YELP review was dated 5/31/2019. I hope they recover their losses! The YELP review of 3/22/2019 by Kieu Anh N. did not help matters either.

So I don't normally come into restaurants right before closing but I've never been here so I didn't know the times. I was welcomed in like they had just open but they really closed in 15 mins. We ordered our food than noticed we have ten ministers till closing. I told the waiter we didn't know and was very sorry but he is letting us eat and has been super nice and cool. Definitely coming back btw you need to try there veto coffee, it's to die for!

The place was completely empty but we still gave it a chance. Service was nice enough. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue (Spicy noodle soup) and my husband ordered the special bbq and rice. Soup was too spicy so we took it to go. When I reheated it up later today, I took a bit and noticed something rubbery tasting. To MY ABSOLUTE DISGUST, I pulled out a bandaid. Not only was it a used bandaid, but it looked and felt like the bandaid had been cooking and simmering in the broth since they made the batch. You can see it in the first two pics. Needless to say, we were horrified and will NEVER eat there again. I can see why they are empty. Horrible food, along with being grossly negligent with their food. Just plain nasty. CAVEAT EMPTOR(let the buyer beware).

I really like this place. The food is good and they are quite attentive. I ordered banh mi dac biet. The bread was warm and crisp. They also provided fresh jalapeno and cilantro. =] I also order soy milk. I thought they would serve the canned stuff but it was blended fresh and sweetened perfectly for me. Not too sweet or bland. Will be back again!

Difficult to replace the former restaurant quality and service. Went there 3 times in past month and twice the order was incorrect upon receiving our food. It's new so some kinks to work out.

We order 2 combination phos and 1 summer roll it was GOOD. But I think the broth could be a little more beefy and add more meat!.it was not bad for my first time. The service is excellent and the ladies are very friendly.

Pretty good! They have the GOOD tendon and pretty good portion on noodles, could use a little more meat. Extra meat is $3.50. A little overpriced but all of Hawaii is. They do give you culantro and lots of basil to add to your bowl. They also have a good selection of sauces to add; fish sauce, hoisin, soy sauce, two chili pastes/oil, and of course sriracha. First pho place I tried out of the millions of pho places in Hawaii and my cravings were satisfied.

Our go-to Vietnamese place. Foods prepared with care by a lovely family. You can tell they are meticulous by the way they serve different herbs with different soups, etc.

NEW OWNER ON NEW YEAR's EVE 2018. Found out of the change and decided to YELP it so YOU know it's all new recipes and worth a try. All previous reviews will be of the past owners. Will definitely miss the special 'Ohana recipes of the previous owners. Good Luck to their next endeavors. 1 Star for the change and to mark a new year with new reviews and new owners! Good Luck!

Saigon is changing owners on 1/1/19. The current owners are lovely and although I've only been here once, I'm really sad to see them go. The food here is authentic and tasty. We enjoyed the won ton with egg noodles (4/5) summer rolls with grilled pork (4/5) and grilled pork on rice (4/5). All of the dishes came with loads of fresh vegetables and herbs. I thought the won ton soup was the star due to its simplicity. It was clean tasting and satisfying with endless egg noodles. The meal ended with complimentary agar agar coconut dessert. The owner makes agar desserts into a variety of shapes (carp, bitter melon, flowers) and uses natural food dye. It was a refreshing way to end our meal. Prices are a a bit higher than what I'm used to. Street parking is limited and lot parking available if you're willing to walk. The restaurant is relatively clean and has a/c. Service is warm and friendly. A number of regulars stopped by the day we were there to take pictures and exchange gifts with the owners. LOCATION: 3/5 FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 VALUE: 3/5 AMBIANCE: 3/5 CLEANLINESS: 3/5 PARKING: 3/5
