This has been hands down my favorite, go to, consistent, cute, clean, family owned and operated small business Vietnamese restaurant for over a decade now. My favorite dishes are the chicken pho when I am sick (so clean, so healthy, so fresh, and they use shredded white meat chicken for American taste!), the spring roll and bbq pork vermicelli bowl, and when I want something heavier the curry. This place is so wonderful I hope it never closes. It's the real Kaimuki. It's the Kaimuki before all those bougie places moved in and it's better than them all. Prices are really reasonable, food is fresh and tasty, the place is clean and nice, even the ice water tastes especially good! This place is a gem. Five stars.

Restaurant is suppose to open at 11am. Door still locked at 11:20am. Worker clearly saw me standing outside but ignored me. There was a review from three years ago that said the same thing. Rude and not customer oriented.

We were greeted warmly and pointed to a table. There appear to be many “regulars” dining here who know exactly what they want to eat by heart. We ordered the oxtail soup with pho noodles and a regular steak pho. The portions were generous for a “regular” size pho. I liked the very thin noodles. Also looked the volume of greens/herbs presented with the soup. We will be back!

Maybe you should come here everyday because you can get a delicious bahn mi in whatever flavor your desire, pho, or a staple Vietnamese dish. Just eat here, you won't regret it.
