We've been coming here for a while. We usually call in our orders and it typically takes 10-15 minutes which isn't bad. The food is pretty good but nothing special. Sometimes they will mess up the order which can be irritating. The portion sizes can also vary. Sometimes we get a lot of protein/veggies and other times it's mostly rice or noodles. The food does taste good which is why we keep coming back but there definitely is some improvement that could make this place even better. Overall a good spot for some traditional Chinese food.

I’ve eaten in, and had take out @ Salt Lake Chinese Restaurant but, WARNING ⚠️
I always get their char su fried rice because, it feed my Ohana of 3, and worth the $15.
I picked up an order Sunday July 6th, and I should’ve known then, when I picked it up off the counter, it was so light in weight. So much so, I thought I had the wrong order. You could feel the weight of the fried rice, it used to feel heavy, and filled with fried rice. That should’ve been my first clue.
When I brought it home to have dinner, it was JUST ENOUGH for 2. We’re VERY DISAPPOINTED. $15 for rice, and a few pieces of char su, peas, and bits of egg. Super bummed, gonna have to spend my hard earned money elsewhere.

Do not go here! Though this place was recommended on the Oahu spouses page in FB! It was tasteless and he was rude! Telling us not to order fried rice and that it was too much food. We were like do you not want to cook!!! Or make money! Beef and pork taste exactly the same no flavor and both overloaded in it! DO NOT GO HERE! Go to panda it would taste better than this!!!

Bought a small portion of beef and broccoli and it had a disgusting fish smell. Maybe they use the same cooking pan after frying fish - don't know. Not coming back.

I wish we'd read some of the reviews before ordering. Ordered online and the food was waiting for us when we arrived. Not much interaction with staff but reasonably friendly and all dishes were labeled with our names and nicely boxed up. That's about the best I can say.
When we got home, the food (while plentiful) was like quite a few others have stated: over-breaded General Tso chicken, drowning in some sort of gravy/sauce, not spicy, and almost no flavor. My wife got the chicken and broccoli, which was literally just that (no sauce or anything); she took one bite of the chicken and picked the rest out because it was just gross. Crab Rangoons are usually pretty difficult to mess up, but these were over-fried or fried in old oil, lacked flavor, and 1 of the 6 didn't even have any filling in it.
Definitely a good location like others have mentioned, but totally not worth it and will not be returning. Life's too short to eat bad food, sadly would have preferred to eat at a national chain Chinese place than here. Would not recommend.
I ordered chow mein, char siu, two dinner plates and seaweed fishcake soup. The food lacked flavor. There wasn’t enough seasoning on any of the dishes. The crispy gaugee was crispy but even that had little flavor. The only way to know if the food is good is to order it, now I know. The service was good, the staff was friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located with ample parking.
They are so friendly and the service we received was awesome the food was really good my family from çali really enjoyed there
First time buying from here. Food was good. Need to try some other items from the menu before giving a different rating. Looks like a nice place for a family meal.

This restaurant has been here a long time. The food is home style and delicious! It wasn't terribly crowded but we noticed they have a lot of take out orders.
We were a party of 7 and had:
scallop soup, peking duck, beef with bitter melon, seafood with mixed veggy, roast pork (fresh not chau sui), shrimp fried rice, salt and pepper shrimp, ung choi (vegetable).
We were very pleased. Everything was well prepared and tasty, not oversalted. Not spicey, this is a Cantonese style I think.
The prices were comparable to other restaurants in this day and age. The service is very good, and an automatic 15% tip is in the bill since we were 7 people, which we thought was modest compared to some other places.
Not a fancy place but cozy and comfortable, spacious. Will return again when in the area!
Salt Lake Chinese always hits the spot! We love the vegetable fried rice, orange chicken, crab ragoons, and honey walnut shrimp! The staff is always so friendly to us too whenever we do pickup orders
❗❗❗Violent food poisoning! You will be fighting for your life to stay standing. Dishonest to be in business selling old contaminated improperly prepared food! ❗❗❗ tastes bad. The health department needs to shut them down!
I don't really eat chinese besides pandas but this place is really good and the prices are decent and clean.
