When your airline's lounge club is closed for construction... u end up eating at any place that's open.
Airport food is not known for good food. But u eat what u can get and Sammy's was the only stidown restaurant open at our late flight back home. My noodles dish was just OK but their best dish is probably the puller pork sandwich sliders and that was actually decent 👍
Service was polite and friendly. Shout out to Filipino Hawaiians, they're always nice hard working people 👍

My flight was scheduled to depart from gate C3, so I ended up spending time at Sammy’s Beach Bar, where I had Chicken Fingers ($22.99), and two Hendricks gin & tonics ($17.49ea). The food was fine and the service by the bartender was great. Rating: 4, despite Waikiki-level pricing.

About the best airport food we've ever had. The avocado taco's were wonderful.

This place was not very busy each time I went. I'd say servide is hit or miss. The Bloody Mary is decent. The cheeseburger was underwhelming but the fish for the fish and chips was decent. My fries were burnt though. I'd recommend them for a quick bite close to gate.

A Disappointing Experience, Saved Only by the Manager’s Grace
It is not my habit to leave unfavorable reviews, but our visit to Sammy’s Bar & Grill warrants an honest account. We arrived with simple expectations: a pleasant meal and a welcoming atmosphere. Regrettably, what we encountered was far from that.
My uncle — a respectful, older gentleman — politely asked the waitress if he might use a phone charger. The response he received was dismissive, laced with unwarranted attitude. Rather than extend courtesy, the staff offered condescension. It was disheartening.
As for the food, it was lackluster — forgettable in both flavor and presentation. Certainly not the fare one might hope for at an establishment bearing the name “grill.”
Yet amidst the discourtesy and disappointment, one individual stood apart: the manager. He handled the situation with dignity and professionalism. Recognizing our discomfort, he kindly took care of the bill — a gesture we deeply appreciate and do not take lightly.
To him, we offer our sincere thanks. But to the rest of the staff, a reminder: hospitality is not merely a job — it is a standard of grace and service.
We shall not return, but we do leave with gratitude for the one who tried to make it right.
The food wasn't worth the price.

Great and friendly service! Food was excellent and love that the iced tea is fresh brewed. Good place to eat if you have a layover at the airport

Server barely was around. Pork tacos were bland and cold. $20 for 2 small tacos and the rest of the plate was filled with chips with nothing else? Worse than fast food.

The food was cool and highly priced, as you would expect for an airport restaurant.

Try keeping your online presence up to date. Google shows open at 6pm on a Tuesday but it was not. Poor management.
I am vegetarian so got nachos with no cheese or meat. Instead of giving me more pico de gallo and a good amount of avocado that I paid extra for, they gave me very little of each, so I ended up eating mostly chips for $25.
Nice place to eat.
