If you think they will give 2 you know what's about customer service, prepared to be disappointed. It's a step up, shut up, pay up vibe.

The Mai Tai's were actually decent for an airport bar/restaurant. 😁

The waitress added $10 to our charge card after we left. Our final bill with tip came to $74.30. When we got the charge card bill in the mail the total was $84.30. I called to complain and got an answering machine and no call back.

I ordered the nachos with Carne Asada beef and my husband ordered a hamburger with fries. Pretty basic and pretty hard to mess up. Time for a secret shopper visit at this location. Tortilla chips were old and stale. Instead of using real cheese they used cheese whiz. Shocking for a chef of Guy Fieri’s caliber and I can only assume they must’ve run out regular cheese and substituted the cheese whiz. And to top it off our food was cold. This location was in the airport and should be skipped until the food quality is improved. Again how do you mess up nachos and a hamburger?
I will say the wait staff was outstanding and the bartender mixed a perfect margarita.

Food cold chili and nachos came out cold and almost unedible. Do not recommend either. Not to mention prices due to being at the airport. Atleast serve warm stuff. Pass on this airport establishment

Attempted to have breakfast here but the staff member was so rude and unprofessional that we got up and left. It was like she was searching for reasons not to work and paying customers were an inconvenient impediment to that goal.

Just left, the food has absolutely no flavor, it’s bland and the customer service is not great at all. Well one particular server. I would not recommend it here at all. I’d give it zero stars but I have to click at least one.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sammy’s Beach Bar and Grill, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the avocado tacos, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting.

The tacos were a delightful combination of flavors and textures. The soft taco shells were filled with creamy, luxurious, and velvety avocados that added a rich and satisfying texture to each bite. Topped with crumbled cheese, fresh green leaves, and a tangy red salsa, every element came together perfectly. The accompanying tortilla chips were crispy and perfect for scooping up any extra fillings.

A special shoutout to Amanda, my waitress, who made the experience even more enjoyable. Despite being incredibly busy, she managed to serve with a cool, calm demeanor and a warm smile. Her hard work and sweet nature did not go unnoticed and added a personal touch to the dining experience.

Overall, Sammy’s Beach Bar and Grill is a must-visit if you're in terminal C at Honolulu airport, especially for those avocado tacos and the excellent service provided by Amanda. I can’t wait to return! ??

This is a convenient bar to have a few beers before you take your plane, good service, good beer selection and good customer service depending on the time of day. I didn’t try the food, but the place is clean and good environment .
