This is our new favorite beachside restaurant. Great service. My Kahala Burger was done perfectly (both patties). The Kahala sauce reminded me of McDonald's Big Mac sauce. The fries were nice and crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. The hummus dish beat ones we've had at other places. Other vegan options available like summer rolls with tofu instead. Beach is secluded and quiet so you could enjoy and contemplate the breeze, gentle waves, sunshine,...
Had an early dinner at the Seaside Grill, which is near the pool area at the Kahala Hotel. This restaurant is definitely the most casual dining option at the resort, but it also has the best views of the ocean too. The food and service today were both excellent. My son loved the burger, and the coconut cake was the best we have both ever had!
The atmosphere is a bit disappointing knowing it’s a beach restaurant at the high end hotel. Food is ok. Not great but not horrible. Guys at the bar making drinks also don’t seem very excited to get your drink. They don’t even try to make it look more appealing. Maybe it’s the Hawaii style.
