The atmosphere is a bit disappointing knowing it’s a beach restaurant at the high end hotel. Food is ok. Not great but not horrible. Guys at the bar making drinks also don’t seem very excited to get your drink. They don’t even try to make it look more appealing. Maybe it’s the Hawaii style.
Great ingredient separation for non dairy non gluten. Staff is wearing reflective sunglasses. Chips, salsa, and guacamole is dairy free not indicated on the menu. 25% premium for eating next to the ocean.
The staff are excellent. Kainoa was so welcoming and polite. Everyone who worked here were professional and very kind, true representatives of the Aloha spirit. The food was great quality yet overpriced but it’s somewhat understandable because of the premier location.
