Overpriced and disappointing. I chose the Chef’s Counter dining experience at $391 per person, they add a mandatory 25% gratuity, which removes any real incentive for attentive service. Every course was delivered by a different waiter or waitress, making the experience feel rushed and uncoordinated.
The experience was advertised as a “Chef’s Counter,” yet I never saw the chef at any point. I arriving 15 minutes early, I was told to wait outside on the street. This is not the best area, which made the situation uncomfortable.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and do not feel it was worth the price.

Some dishes are very good and creative. Lamb is disappointing. We ordered most of the dishes. Nothing really spectacular. They only have 3 large entrees we were disappointed to be told they were out of the wagyu for a six fifteen reservation in a holiday week? 20% large party gratuity for a party of 4? Plus an approximately 7% on top for a kitchen appreciation fee. We would appreciate it if the kitchen had the food listed on the menu. Enough fees already. The service was good i usually tip way more than most but gratuity should not be forced.

We love our date nights at Senia. The food is outstanding. Such creative flavor combinations by Chef Rush. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is not too loud and not too quiet, and the booth seating is very intimate. Well deserving of all their awards.

I called to see if I can make a reservation for next week because I couldn't find time I wanted on open table app. Sometimes reservation app said there is no table available but actually there is a table available when I called. That was the reason of my call.
The lady who answered my phone laughed at me and said it will take too much time for her to look for the available time for me and told me to go to open table online instead.
I wanted to say I know that and just wanted to see if my preferable time is available, but she even did not give me the chance to say something and right after she finished talking about open table app and hung up on me.
I visited many fine dining restaurants and this is the first time I received this terrible service.
I was really wanted to visit SENIA but I decided not to visit with this kind of service.

We received the strangest response after asking if they have a candle for a birthday celebration to put on the dessert WE ORDERED AND PAID FOR - “no we don’t have candles, here’s a card signed by us to celebrate your birthday” then she just walked away. Thanks…. I’ll blow the card to make a wish? I’ve never felt such underwhelming celebrations at any restaurants before.
This resulted us having to run to target to buy candles and a cake at foodland just so we can celebrate a milestone birthday at a bare minimum with a candle!

We can only say positive things from the time we were greeted at the door until walking out smiling and fulfilled beyond our expectations. We have been lucky to eat at some very nice restaurants in the past...and we have been chasing that feeling of “first times” ever OH THAT'S GREAT since. Fine dining so often feels so similar and uninspired at a lofty price and hard to get reservation...but our experience at Senia was exquisite, both in presentation and in flavor. We feel spoiled! Thank you Chef and staff! AMAZING
Really great experience their drinks were good and apps and meals were good. Their gnocchi was okay to me, but everything else was good. The cheese and mushroom tartlets I would have ordered more it was soo soo good! They brewed me fresh espresso for my espresso martini and it was one of the best I've had.

I am a vegetarian. This was the most delicious and beautiful meal I've eaten in Hawaii. My husband loved his scallops but still would sneak bites of my pasta. Everything was very well done. The service by Alex was perfect. Lastly, my old fashion was the best I've ever had!

The server was great at what she does and attentive to our needs. The food runners did not explain the food as it was dropped off. The food menu was subpar in flavor. The menu 8 years ago definitely more palatable for the price range spent on the food. Drinks were also subpar. Go to Giovedi if you want a better dining experience for the same price point (drinks also way better there).

Just another top tier senia experience this time with their take home thanksgiving dinner. We did it last year and so glad we did it again this year. Way more food than the dinner for 2 advertised with a couple meals of leftovers. Nice, thoughtful add ons and simple cooking instructions made it a great day.
