A must-visit famous restaurant that ranks as the latest in Hawaiian gourmet food. Each dish is infused with ingenuity and a variety of tastes, and I hear that its reputation has only increased since it opened in 2016.If you remember the names of chefs Anthony Rush and Chris Kajioka, something good will come of it.It is located in downtown, about 25 minutes from Waikiki, taking into account traffic congestion. As a leading Hawaiian gourmet restaurant on Oahu that continues to evolve over the years, this is a restaurant that you should definitely make a reservation for when you come to Oahu.

Highly elevated, yet relaxing and fun dining experience with exceptional service focusing on local ingredients with elaborate and thoughtful presentation while still delivering soulful, balanced and decadent flavor profiles in every bite. We didn't have a reservation for the tasting menu, so we made our own. Highly recommend the following... Mushroom and cheese tarts, roasted bone marrow with homemade Hawaiian sweet rolls, scallops and duck three ways. The desserts were delicious also, as well as the cocktails. If you must choose between any other restaurant on the island and Senia, go to Senia. Mahalo and see you soon, Senia team! ☝???✌??

The entire staff were each magical talents of pure passion who worked together like an award winning broadway show. The food was mind blowing creative and equally delicious. Nick and Chef Rush were amazing hosts as well as everyone else. We all were just thrilled for every moment from the drinks, to the food, to our conversations with each person across the counter from us. Thank you Senia for the same breath of incredible fresh air you breathe outside in Hawaii, served from the inside. Sending you blessings of gratitude.

This was my first time here. The service was phenomenal. None of the drinks seemed appealing but all looked tasty. The ahi cigar and the mushroom and cheese tart were a must try. Worth every bite. And unfortunately that is where it ends for me. I shared the beef cheeks and pureed potatoes. They were underwhelming. I unfortunately don't see a need to return. I don't think the flavors and the dining experience is wort the price paid

The best meal hands down! Sat at the counter and was in awe watching them cook. Waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions. Went with the cigars and mushroom tarts so yummy! Sea scallops and bone marrow both amazing. Then the beef cheeks with potato puree and sprouts ? best food I’ve ever eaten.

Pretty special restaurant for Honolulu! We have some pretty amazing restaurants but this one made me feel like I stepped into a restaurant in NYC or Boston. Just very different for here but I loved it. All the food was great. Some of it came out maybe lukewarm but maybe that's hot it was served. Either way was delicious. Great experience and we had a female waitress who was AMAZING! She was on it and felt so excited about everything which I loved.

From the moment you walk through Senia's front doors you feel welcome and taken care of. The service is extremely attentive but never obtrusive. The restaurant is modern with a NY vibe with an open kitchen. Great selection of modern American, Asian fusion. Extensive wine list. My partner and I started with the Ahi Cigars which set the stage. We then had Kabocha Croquettes which we found polish inspired. We shared the Hamachi which was fresh as can be (from Japan), Maui Venison Tartare, Roasted Bone Marrow. The marrow was beautifully plated with toasted Molokai sweet bread, beef cheek marmalade. The Sea Scallops on pumpkin puree melt in your mouth. Maybe the best I have ever had. We finished off with Agnolotti - pierogi of sorts stuffed with Okinawa sweet potatoes. We found ourselves transported to Asia, to Hawaii, to NYC and to Poland. But everywhere, we felt at home. Such a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Did I mention the great service? We are planning our next visit when we have something to celebrate. Maybe the tasting menu then.

Sitting at the chef’s counter was an incredible experience. To watch the minutiae of detail and cleanliness and skill of the staff was impressive. The food was creative and fun. The cocktails - the rum based one hit the mark. The Freddy, bourbon based, reminded me of amoxicillin as a child. First cocktail I didn’t finish. The biggest hurtle of the night was the unrealistic expectation of paying north of $500 for a meal for 2. We were suggested to get a 2-3 snacks, 5-7 plates, and 1-2 shared items. We got 2 snacks, 1 shared, and one side. We had just enough. Add in a glass of wine, two cocktails, tax and time brought us to over $250.

2nd visit. Ingredient quality is a bit unstable, but in general it’s a good restaurant.Recommend: ahi cigar, madeleine (very good), bone marrow (1st time it was great, 2nd time ok), duckScallop was not too fresh at my 1st visit, brussel sprouts is ok. Tea and juice good (here good=no complaint).

This was by far our best meal in Oahu. We wayyy over-ordered but it was worth it :) The things I think are a MUST order are the smoked ahi cigars, bone marrow + bread, the sea scallops, and the BEST = the smoked salmon. The mushrooms and venison pasta were good, but not mind blowing like the salmon. Overall, it was an amazing atmosphere and they took us on a wonderful culinary journey!

One of the top restaurants my wife and I have eaten in. Goes up there with French Laundry and the Inn of Little Washington. Different but extremely creative in the food preparation and taste. Love the small plate idea. Ever enjoyable and will be coming back many times. For a fabulous dining experience go there. Bravo! We were there for our 51st wedding anniversary.
