They overcharged and they don't show you the itemized cost of your order.

The service attitude is poor, the waiter ignores people, and the food is served very slowly. The restaurant is very dirty, and the table and menu are covered with grease. The quality of the dishes is also very poor, like meat that has been left for a long time. It is also mandatory to tip 15%.

The service attitude is not good, tipping is compulsory, and even if the tip is small, people will be scolded. The store is greasy and unclean, and the food does not taste very good.

I visited after 9pm, and when I was about to miss out on dinner because the restaurants around me were closed, I decided to take a look.If it was open until 10pm, I went in.I ordered a single cold noodle dish, and it also came with 3 types of side dishes. The taste of the cold noodles was perfect to my taste, and it was reasonably priced and voluminous, so I was quite satisfied❗️

The food was great. The service was fine if a little slow. They weren't rude. But when I was leaving $20 tip after paying the 190$ bill in cash, the ajumma said "15% minimum. 30$". I gave her the 30$ and left after telling her that tip is being nice. Not a minimum. And you know what. That's the kind of impression that makes a customer think "I'm never coming here again." I don't care that this is one of the cheaper and easier AYCE in town. That kind of interaction is never how I want to leave a meal.

TLDR; I was told 15% tip is minimum (and mandatory) and told to adjust my cash tip.

This restaurant is recommended to those who want to ruin their trip to Hawaii with bad memories. This was a restaurant I went to with a guide on a package tour. The restaurant is located a bit away from the major hotels on Waikiki Beach, with strange(?) bars as neighbors. In addition to the dark interior reminiscent of bars near Korean military bases in the 70s and 80s, it looks like it has been around for a long time, so the only thing worth eating is fish cake. I could rather put up with the missing side dishes and the seasoned meat that was baptized with MSG as if it had been dropped into a seasoning container. The pitiful service attitude of the employees, which bordered on terrorism, shocked us.

A member of the group spilled food on their clothes and asked for wet wipes, which can be found in restaurants all over the world, when a middle-aged female waiter approached the table, stood cross-legged next to the counter without even looking, and vigorously shouted across three or four tables. “There are no wet wipes in Hawaiian restaurants.” From then on our trip became a nightmare. What are the chances of being treated like that by a Korean-speaking waiter (I still hope he wasn't of Korean nationality) at a Korean dinner while traveling in Hawaii? Is the food made by those who have a rude attitude and calmly lie about there being no wet wipes in Hawaiian restaurants really worth eating? I was so angry that I posted a photo of the wet wipes I collected from Yard House, The Buffet at Hyatt, Tiki's Grill & Bar, and Queensbeak. Hawaiian restaurants have wet wipes. A lot of that too.

If a restaurant has poor material resources, wouldn't it be normal to show sincerity by providing alternative means of serving customers? This amazing experience seems to be possible because this is a Korean restaurant that is mainly used by package tourists in Hawaii. Isn't the reason I've been faced with this unfortunate situation, despite similar types of bad reviews piling up over the years, because of the strong ties of business people who have no problem maintaining a profit model even if they treat travelers carelessly as if they'll never see each other again?

Even though I realized in the past that you can never buy a comfortable and enjoyable trip just by investing money, I became lazy and forgot about it for a while, and I seem to have this shocking experience again. I no longer have expectations about package tours. If you want a pleasant trip, you have to be more diligent.

I didn't have to eat a few Korean meals during my trip to avoid being treated like a beggar at a Korean restaurant with a gloomy interior, but I regret why I didn't turn down the invitation to go to that restaurant. After my unpleasant experience at this restaurant, when I had a light dinner with accompaniments while watching the beautiful sunset at the restaurant listed above (which offers unlimited wet wipes), I regretted even more the wrong decision I had made earlier.

Employee qualifications and corresponding attitudes
The owner's mindset that he is someone who will see it once anyway.
The reason it continues to be open for so long is because of the connection between Tteunegi Hogaeng and the guide??
You can tell it's a Korean restaurant only through old soju and beer advertisements.
