Worst cocktails around area. Our bartender didn’t know how to make any of the bartenders special. I even let her pick between the matcha whiskey and the onsen. She choose to make the onsen and it taste nothing but yuzu. My husband drink taste like syrup. We paid $18 each. Didn’t finished our drinks, took 3 sips and then we left. The couple next to us has the same complaints.

Shanghai Bar inside the Stix Asia food court is an absolute gem in Honolulu! The bartenders embody the true aloha spirit—so warm, welcoming, and incredibly skilled at what they do. Every cocktail I’ve had here has been nothing short of amazing, but the Morning Star is hands-down my favorite—perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. I make it a point to visit every time I’m in Honolulu, and it never disappoints. Whether you’re stopping by for happy hour or looking for a great drink after exploring Waikīkī, this spot is a must. Mahalo for always making my visits so memorable!
