Skybox Taphouse

We had a reservation but were not notified that Skybox was closed due to selling out of all their food the previous NFL playoff game day. A heads up would have been appreciated before we took the trouble to get there & would have had time to make other plans!

Food wasn't great by any stretch. Waiter was very nice but had too many tables so we had to flag him down to get refills on even water. The atmosphere was nice and they have trivia and bingo which is great and food came quickly but it wasn't busy so might not always be the case.

The service was very slow. Our appetizers came out at the same time as our meal. The food runner was super rude and yelled at a customer at the table beside us. Terrible! Our server was friendly but didn't come check on us once or get us a second drink. I will never go back and would probably stop customers that go in and tell them to go somewhere else. The manager said staff called in sick but there were three servers for 10 tables. Surely they would be able to handle that.

Worst food I had my whole trip. Nachos were good but my Chicken wrap was too salty I couldn't finish it, felt like I was eating just pure salt. Our friend had to wait 30 mins for her pizza, were pretty sure they drop it in the back because we could hear a loud bang coming from the kitchen. Told us we get a discount which we did. But I'd never eat here again.

Not sure what to expect with a low rating, but it wasn't deserved at all as far as we were concerned. Good food, good service, fair prices.

Skybox is my go-to sports watching bar here in-town. The TV's sometimes lag and one is infant of the other, food is par for a bar, and service has been good each time I'm there!

My guys Sammy and Uncle Phil gave the best customer service I could ask for, even had a chat about music that brought me back to my homeland, 10/10 would recommend any day of the week, can't recommend them enough!!!!
