Truly a hidden gem. Ice cream cupcakes?!! Hibiki ice cream?!!Custom two layered ice cream cakes?!I am shocked that this place isn't popping off ...yet. I had their skittles cupcake and hibiki ice cream the first time. For take out, I got my wife the smores and ube cupcakes to go. I couldn't stop craving it so I was back the next week. I also bought a custom skittles cake for a friend's birthday and everyone was blown away by it. I requested a rainbow skittles cake and the meringue was just awesome. Though skittles wasn't everyone's favorite as it is tart. Any skittles fan will love this cake.
Parking: Shared parking lot but I've been able to find parking every time easily.

Small place in a part of Kapahulu area I’ve never been (Kilohana Square)-then again I’m from the opposite side of the island lol. It’s a little shopping center tucked away near the freeway on Kapahulu, and if you love ice cream cake then you’ll enjoy these ice cream cakes, pies, and cupcakes! I wish i lived near by ??
Parking: I came in the evening (7pm) and there were a lot of parking spots nearby.

My family ordered 4 different items. All 4 were beyond description. It's not just "pie" or "cake". It's like a tightly composed culinary dessert. They're cold enough that you could easily pick up a few and take them home or back to a hotel. Or you can eat at the little counter seating area in the shop. The people there were also very nice.

My fiancee's 28th birthday cake. I got one pie with two flavors: Strawberry Shortcake and Snuggy Bear for a total of $77. It looks very cool. The coffee is not sweet coffee type but it worked because the bottom of Snuggy is sweet. I do not drink any coffee but its yummy. Yes, it is expensive but this and one other thing are my gifts to him. Plus, last year Slice was relocating this time of year so I was not able to get his b-day cake from them. I splurged this time. It is not heavy or greasy but I wish it was heavier because as is, I can eat a lot and it feels like I ate nothing so the cake is not lasting as long as other Slice cakes I had. I expected a "cheat meal" "feel good" kinda pie. This is just my take and critique. The flavors are thought out and fiancee is happy.

Great Choice for a Sweet Tooth Craving/Addiction! ? I Love that it's always something new to try no matter what day they're open. And you will miss one of their Special makes if you don't go everyday that they're open, cause they are a one of kind, ? Once it is gone it very rare that you will see it again. ? Outside of some of there regular creations, which are just as good! ? The Lovely Couple that runs the shop are very friendly, and conversational. ? It can be a little pricey... But the Quilty and Taste you will forget upon eating it. ? The place is very clean and kept up. The Kitchen/work area is open, so you can see them creating their next sweat masterpiece right in front of you. ??? Great little shop tucked away off the main street, across the street from Leonard's Bakery, with little tight limited parking in front of their shop. (Not for Large Vehicles! ) Everything is worth it in the end! ???

Very delicious ice cream cake!! I got some cupcakes for a birthday celebration, and they were a lot smaller than I anticipated. I definitely prefer the cake. It is all a little overpriced, but it is a local shop and tasty.
My daughter asked for an ice cream cake for her birthday and Slice by HB Bakery did an amazing job. We didn't know the logistics of picking flavors and it took quite a while, but the person behind the counter was so kind and patient. When we picked up our custom cake days later, we were floored by the presentation. It tasted even better!!! We have gotten Baskin Robbins and Coldstones many times and this cake far exceeds both. For special occasions, well worth the price. We'll be back!
