Update: As of November 17th this issue has been resolved, and I’ve finally gotten my credit back. In the end, the restaurant owner sent me a $50 Amazon gift card for the nearly 3 months of frustration. Thank you. 🙂Part of the delay was the credit card dispute process that I had to go through. The owner says that she has advised the wait staff to be mindful of this issue in the future; I appreciate the forward thinking.
Btw, no complaints on the actual food.
Original: My family and I ate at this restaurant on August 24th and purchased $176.72 in food plus tip and taxes. The restaurant charged my card twice back to back for the same meal. I called them and left a message yet no one returned my call. I ended up submitting a dispute with the credit card. They opposed the dispute and sent in both of the duplicate bills showing that they are the exact same thing and still will not refund the duplicate charge. I hope they do not rob you as well.

We came here visiting from out of town. It took us 30+ min to get our drinks. We thought we had enough time to participate in two drinks at least before happy hour ended but that wasn’t the case. Within the 30 plus min of waiting for our alcoholic drink we didn’t get a water before hand which would have been the best choice. We finally got our cocktails with an apology and a reason that didn’t make sense at all which was fine. The drinks didn’t taste like what the ingredients were at all. It was actually very nasty so we got something else. Our food took 1 hr to come out. Only for the fries within my guests entree to be burnt to a crisp. We looked at them in confusion not knowing if it was a local type of food but I then looked at the pictures on their google business page only to see their fries don’t look like that in any form and they were ok with giving us very burnt fries. I should have taken a picture of the food we received but we were just ready to leave from this disappointing experience. I wish y’all all the best and it’s unfortunate we were visiting from out of town and how dinner how to be spoiled but this experience.

Went in on a Friday to get their poutine only to be told they’re all out. When I asked what part of the poutine they were out of (fries, gravy, or cheese) she had no idea and just said we’re out of poutine. It ended up being the cheese that they’re out of. On a FRIDAY?!?! and a restaurant is out of cheese curds? Wild and crazy when it’s marketed as one of the only places in O’ahu to get poutine.

Waitress kept forgetting our order and then didn't want to come back to table when it came for the bill etc- she just stopped serving our table. Good food. Odd experience.
If you're wanting some great drinks to go along with fantastic food selection, Smith and Kings is the place to go. We come to Smith and Kings through various times of the day, brunch is fantastic on the weekends. Breakfast Poutine and the Sausage and Biscuits along with Chicken Tenders are fantastic!
When we come in the evenings before a show, the Strawberry and Walnut Salad, Sliders are great to have.
The staff is always great. The owner is always working and running support for the staff. Great to see and chat with her.

Food was quite good, but we won't be back. Several reasons: It was very hot, parking was okay because it was a Sunday, but any other day would be difficult, noise level was too much for conversations, but the main reason was our food was preordered for our 11:00 reservation since our party 10+, but it came out at 10:47 before the guests arrived. When we requested to have it held in the back so it would not get cold, we were told by the manager that our request could not be accommodated....I guess my expectation of having hot food after all guests were seated was unreasonable (????)

We had brunch there for the first time in a while. They did not miss a beat. We always enjoy our food and drinks when we go. Breakfast shot is a must for us.

Not much open on a Saturday night near Kumu Kahua. We were happy to find Smith and Kings. It's a bar with several large TVs. The happy hour wings were delicious. Apple walnut salad was tasty. The lobster mac had a few bits of lobster and was nice and creamy. We should have passed on their cheesecake which tasted like a SaraLee cheesecake, definitely not fresh.
Came in for brunch. Staff here is excellent! Food took a little longer to come out than usual and they really took care of us. Top notch service. On top of that everything we ordered was delicious! Highly recommend!

Really good food and drinks. The bar tenders are really friendly. Just needs to work on his jump shot!
All of their food is excellent. I love the strawberry walnut salad and the wings. Elliott is an awesome bartender and made our whole family feel welcome. We sometimes go for their trivia nights and like to enjoy happy hour. We also order wings to-go a lot. Great place! Fun vibe and nice staff. Love this place!
