Excellent experience and meeting super friendly and memorable bar tender names Michael! What a surprise when you walk around town rather than drive we happened to pass this amazing bar with such History and memorable experience and pictures to brag about. I lived only 4 blocks away in 1990s and never walked around down town but had a lovely Sunday afternoon walking around China Town and visiting this amazing memorable bar with such History

It lives up to its reputation, Smith's is hands down THE best 'dive' bar on island. From kareoke, to prices, to the staff, wouldn't change a THING.

Yeah, it’s a dive bar. ..and perfect.

If you need fancy drinks and a bar tender that listens to your stories. . .this ain’t the place. If you need a cheap draft and straight up shot for pocket change at a place where no one bugs you…you found the right place.

If you’re easily offended, don’t go here. Seriously. The locals will laugh you out, with glee.

Great grimey dive bar. Can get hot inside (they have a fan) but the drinks keep you cool! I forget his name now but the bartender going for his MBA at UH was a great chat.

Definitely not a pretty place but a good cheap spot to watch football in an area lacking good cheap spots. Highly recommend.

The diviest of dive bars. Nothing fancy but good prices. I always heard terrible karaoke there so its definitely the place to go to belt your heart out without judgement.

Cool bar, however it smelled like urine. Really nice Memorial to the PH survivor. Once and done, they need to clean it up. I would not eat here.

During our stay in Hawaii we found this hidden gem of a bar. All the customers we receptive of us and the bar tenders were on point. It definitely beat the hell out of paying tourists prices most everywhere else. I sent some Louisiana things and hope they get hung in the bar. Also look closely at the top of the walls is like the hull of a Battleship

Parking: Parking lot not far around the corner

We found this bar by accident. It was part of our best experience in Hawaii. The bartenders and customers were so welcoming. We had such a blast and loved not paying tourists prices🥃🏝️🙏🏼❤️

I was out and about basically reminiscing. This bar was the 1st bar my mother worked at and this is before I was born. Matter of fact She met my dad there He was Navy. She'll talk about how hard it will be trying to convince a man that he's been cut off? She said " I felt more like a bouncer then a bar maid". She'll say the importance of taking care of a man in uniform, especially if they are far from home. Never take advantage because they are drunk and don't soak them out of what may need to go home. Wisdom to live by..

Unwelcoming and disrespectful staff. Bar tender has a dog out front that will bark at any person that passes through the door. Made the Hawaiian elders very uncomfortable—too bad the bar tender dgaf.

If you support the island go to an other bar. Their prices are the same.
