I hear the food is good but we stood in the restaurant several minutes to be seated and were completely ignored. Not sure what happened
I had two orders. THEY DIDNT INCLUDE MY SECOND ORDER. I ordered from DoorDash. The DoorDash Driver told me that the restaurant told him there was two orders. I only got one order. I'm sure I know how to count.
Someone messed up. Never ever going to order from this restaurant again.

The chicken in the ginseng chicken soup was very dry, as if it had been cooked for too long, but the chicken soup was completely tasteless. Doenjang Offal Soup is even worse. The offal is super smelly and has a fishy smell that has not been washed away. It is really a very disappointing Korean food.

The food was good, especially the seafood pancake. I recommend getting the combo - one soft tofu type soup and and an entree. If you're eating with a +1 then they can just get a soup. That way you can save a few $$ and then you'll leave full.
Street parking is free in the evening after a certain time but they're doing construction right now for a new high rise across the street.
Overall, not a bad place - not something you'll write home about but will leave you satisfied.

Great spot for Korean Soondobu (Spicy Tofu Soup)!
I was craving some Soondobu since I haven't had it in a while and glad I came across this place. Typical Hawaiian price but it was well worth the meal. Just like most Korean restaurants came with a variety of side dishes called Banchan. This place had bean sprouts, spinach, potato, radish kimchi and regular kimchi (Korean spicy pickled cabbage).
They had a combo option to add on another dish so I had the one with fish. Not sure what fish it was but it was good. You definitely need to eat the soup and the fish with some rice as both were on the salty side.
They do have a variety of soon dubu but I have with the popular seafood option. If you like seafood, you can't go wrong with this option. The soup came with a mussel, a few clams, and a few shrimps. I think it gives it a better umami flavor to the broth as the soup comes out hot. They give you an egg to crack open and put it in as well.
All in all it was well worth it and if you want to try soon dobu this is the place to try it. Worth checking out!
Parking: I paid for street parking right in front of the store. Not much parking around that I saw.

Some of the reviews discouraged me to try this spot but I finally decided to give it a try today and I wasn’t disappointed. Food was clean, delicious and reasonably priced and service was great. Highly recommend!

I thought I was going to cry after eating a bowl of rice mixed with mildly spicy soft tofu. It's so delicious..!
The chef and owner are both Korean and even prepare the side dishes themselves.
I ordered ribs, mixed soft tofu, and cold noodles, and it was really delicious.
There were so many submission orders that I thought it would take a long time, but it arrived quickly. It seems to be a place where local people, especially large immigrant Japanese families, come to eat out. I'm secretly happy because I found a good local Korean restaurant.
I came by car from Waikiki, and it was worth coming!
The kimchi used in cooking is ripe kimchi, and the basic side dish kimchi is served as unripe kimchi. If you ask for ripe kimchi, you will be able to enjoy truly delicious kimchi!
