Food cold, workers don’t seem happy to be there. I get it’s work, no one likes work but damn. Plus I know inflation is a thing, but if you gonna raise prices to keep up with it, atleast keep the amount the same and the quality. I recommend kimchee 7.

This place is fire. Very friendly service, food came out very quickly and was hot and fresh. Meat jhun and man doo were so delicious. Their veggies on the side are incredible. Definitely going back here on repeat. Heads up, they only take cash. Pretty much a takeout place, had 2-3 tables on the side of the building to eat at but thats it.

When I was growing up, going to school across the street at Aliamanu, they only had Pioneer Chicken at that corner of the Shopping Center. Several years later, after Pioneer Chicken was no more, I was pleased to discover this new Korean BBQ place that opened up there.

Oh is great to come back to this monumental Korean restaurant in Salt Lake. Love that thin sliced Meat Jun. I was craving some Kalbi so must try the Kalbi combo with Meat Jun. The Kalbi was seasoned perfectly and the Meat Jun was great as usual. I definitely recommend phoning in your order for that quick pick up. There's A couple of picnic tables outside the restaurant, but be prepared to shooo away them flies.
Parking: The restaurant it’s in the back corner of Salt Lake shopping center. Next-door to Pizza Hut there’s lots of free parking right in front of the restaurant.

I live in Arizona Glendale and I miss soon barbecue I lived in Foster Village and went to Radford and Makalapa . I wish I could get the recipe for meat Jun because nobody knows how to Cook even Korean restaurants don’t know what I mean. I know it’s more than egg better and fried and somebody please drop me a secret.

We moved out of the neighborhood over 30 years ago and we still go out of our way to eat at Soon’s! Our adult kids have never lived in the Salt Lake area and they too eat Soon’s quite often!
