Got the two taco plate (fish taco and shrimp taco). The shrimp taco was average but the fish taco was fire! They were accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten free. I wasn’t able to have the tuna Mac salad, but they subbed for fries and rice.

OMG. Best.Tacos.Ever. Hadn't read reviews, just stopped while walking through the neighborhood. We're not foodies, not overly impressed by fancy plating or odd combos, but loved the great food and super-size portions at this small funky family-run restaurant just outside of Waikiki. The fish and kal-bi tacos were rich with flavor, the surprise of tuna in the mac salad was creamy and delicious, and the crunchy sweet coleslaw brought all the flavors together. Broke da mout', for realz!

South Shore Grill really knows how to do it. We had a big event at Kaimana beach yesterday and ordered food from here. That was the very best decision of the day(probably the month). The burritos which were chicken and fish (separate) were amazing. Not too heavy and tasted super healthy. We loved it! It’s been a while since I’ve been there with the family, so now it’s time to make it a weekly occurrence. I haven’t even mentioned the cookies yet either…. “Burritos, tacos, and cookies” oh my! We will be there again this week. Thank you South Shore Grill for being on point…. Like decimal.

You guys might as well tear out your phone if you're going just not answer it during business hours. Sucks too because I actually like the food, but I don't have time to drive over there to make an order and then wait the usual 30 minutes it takes to make. I just spend my money elsewhere at a business that cares enough about making sales to ANSWER THE PHONE!! Do you not like making sales? Do you not like money???

I walked 38 minutes to this place on a recommendation. My hopes were high but I was disappointed. I got the Mauka Makai , the most expensive plate. It took about 15min to get it. I choose fish and steak. The fish was dry and over cooked. The steak has a sauce very similar to teriyaki sauce, but it was good. Most of the plate was just a sticky white rice with the Tuna mac. tasted like plain macaroni salad, and slaw. I just was not impressed. I guess if you take the fish and wrap it in a tortilla and put sauce and other stuff it could be good. Maybe I will try again but not anytime soon.
Favorite taco spot on Oahu. Been coming here for years. Always the first stop when coming home from the mainland

Food was okay. Nothing worth writing a review about. The young kids working were nice, and acted professional. The atmosphere is grungy with sticky tables. Also saw a massive B2 bomber roach run up the wall next to me while eating, but that's just Hawaii. Reasonable prices. I would try them again.

My wife and I visited Waikiki for vacation and this spot was one we hit on our last day while there. It ended up being our favorite one. The tacos were great and the Cajun fries with the dipping sauce were wonderful as well. Friendly staff and nice enough atmosphere. Really enjoyed this spot and would recommend to anybody. Seating was kind of limited when we were there but everybody was able to sit for their meals no problem when all said and done.
