Spero Spera is such a nice cafe in the middle of Keeaumoku. It is conveniently located just minutes away from Ala Moana. It is a little tucked away on Young street and is a little unassuming from the outside but this is what makes it a hidden gem. The cafe is very spacious with 2 levels of seatings, perfect for hanging out or studying/working. They have an extensive menu of drinks and sandwiches available all day long, from espresso drinks to non caffeinated beverages. I had the iced matcha latte and the ice cappuccino to try and both very delicious and not too sweet. I also ordered the steak and avocado sandwich to try and im so surprised with the generous portions. You basically get 2 small sandwiches, a side of green salad and potato wedges all for just a little under $14. The staff very so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this cafe!

Easy stop on our way out of town from a docters apt - doesn't look like anything special on outside but it had plenty seating and was a pleasant temperature to dine in - easy parking and a bathroom inside also - my kid had grilled cheese and we had the steak avo sandwich/salad/potatos -enough for me myself and sons father - everyone is happy / great place / thank you!

I woke up this morning craving a good sandwich. Trolled Yelp for the best sandwich shop on the island. After much searching, I found this hidden Gem. I decided to order the Mixed Avocado $12.42. The sandwich came with a bag of chips that went well with the Sandwich. The sandwich was made with care and thought. Everything was paired perfectly. I mean the shredded carrots and cabbage provided the sweetness to the salted ham and bacon. I also ordered the Bacon Salami $12.42, but this time opted to pair this sandwich with the organic side salad. The salad was complimented with a balsamic vinegar dressing. The sandwich is served on a French roll. The sandwich was served warm seeing the mozzarella needed to be melted. This would be my go to when on a run. The establishment decor provides a warm place to study, read or just to escape the town hustle and bustle. Establishment is rather large place that has two areas to sit and enjoy. Bottom floor can host 14 people and their upstairs can host another 20 people. They have soft jazz music in the background that topped everything off. This place isn't just a sandwich shop, it also serves a rather large selection of caffeine and teas (I'll be back to review). In closing: Whether you're in search for some coffee or a quick bite, I recommend you try Spera Spera if you are in the Honolulu town area. Until next time, eat till your heart is content.

Was really craving a grilled cheese with tomato soup and found this place. Such a cute little cafe place, lots of seating and good selection of drinks and sandwiches. We got the passion fruit tea and grilled cheese + tomato bisque. I liked both of it, the grilled cheese was pretty good. Wish they might've used fresh cheese though, however definitely satisfied my cravings. Soup was good too! Will definitely be back to try other sandwiches.

I couldn't even wait to finish my food before posting; this is the best sandwich I've ever had. I love the fact that it's two mini sandwiches, the cheese is salty and gooey, and it comes with at least half an avocado inside! Also your choice of salad or chips--I'll never eat another sandwich again.

I found this little bistro off of young street . Good food at reasonable prices. It was very nice inside. You order & pickup at the counter . They have upstairs & downstairs seating. With a nice eclectic menu. I had the tomato bisque w/ grilled cheese set. Very delicious. And a blueberry smoothie ( loved it!) I will be returning to try other menu items. :)

Second, their food price in unmatched compare to many MANY cafe in the area. The food price range from 11-14 but it is really worth your money. I got the steak avocado sandwich and it came with two very filling sandwiches. They also let you choose between salad & potato wedges or chips as sides. The latte was alright not the best I've had but DEF not the worst. Third, they have nice ac and a private bathroom. Fourth, the owners were really nice. HOWEVER they do not have wifi or plugs. So if you come here to study or work I would suggest having a portable and hotspot. HIGHLY suggest for a quick lunch with friends!
