Place seemed like a cool spot to hang out after work with co-workers or even with friends. Place is located in downtown, near Bishop Street. My husband and I walked in about 5pm on a Weekday and it was kinda' loud inside. I could tell their customers were majority business people who works around the area coming in for food & drinks after work. There were quite a bit of seating areas in the front and back of restaurant and about 3-4 booths. Staff was cool. Food was delicious! We enjoyed their Philly cheesesteak with fries and their Wagyu burger A Lot! Would recommend ordering it. Overall good experience.

Mouthwatering burgers and crisp fries! Can’t go wrong with that combo! I hadn’t been to Square Barrels in years and man have I been missing out! The burgers were very flavorful and the buns were so nice and soft, but also still had that nice little crispness on the edges. I will not wait years to visit again.?

Loved this place so much! The atmosphere is lovely and the staff was so kind and friendly. And the food and dessert was delicious. Will definitely come back when we go to Hawaii next time! ?

Came for lunch yesterday and enjoyed a few beers, cauliflower nachos and the fish sando. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly! Ask for hot sauce for those nachos--fire!

Extremely poor customer service. My bestfriend and I made reservations at square barrels nearly a month prior to our arrival for our trip last week. Our reservation was made online for last Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 9:00 pm. The day/night before, my bestfriend received a text message confirming that we would make our reservation. We confirmed. The night of we called the restaurant at 9:01 pm to let them know that our Lyft driver dropped us off a street or two over and that we

Went there for a Friday night comedy night and enjoyed the place so much that I went back for drinks and a burger. Really good burgers. If you like hot they have a spicy burger as well! Went again on another occasion since the bartender is really good and had an appetizer that was fried cauliflower nachos. This is now my go to place in downtown!

Food was decent but pricey, drinks were 6/10, but the waiters were great and the ambiance was pretty great. I loved the comedy show too(every saturday night).

Great spot to stop off for well made sandwiches and burgers and signature cocktails. The SQUARE'S BOULEVARDIER for $12 was way better than they're $18 barrel aged old fashion. As for the beignets, they were more like mini pound cakes and I'd they were just okay. Coffee ice was however a nice touch.

Probably at least three years since my last visit so it wasn't really what I'd call a homecoming. This is now Square Barrels Ver. 2.0 or greater. I was present for the original Executive Chef when they first opened. It's ownership may have changed, but the new post Covid procedures transformed the place into something a bit more clinical sterile environment. The original classy power lunch pub with 24 beers on tap has now become just a place to eat. The service is very good but very minimal in any interaction. The Rachel ( aka Rueben) was a grilled tasty sandwich very well executed bar food. The Cajun fries were ample, but heavily spiced, which took away the moisture of the potato. The aioli became a requirement. Second entree was the Bar Burger which was prepared very well. Accompanied by regular fries, which were more palatable, but not remarkable. The canned beer poured into the thin large old fashion cocktail glass lost its cold frostiness and effervescence in minutes. Ice Water was the best beverage.

This place is awesome! Perfect for a lunch meeting with a group of 6 we had. The food is amazing - fish sando is a must with cajun fries. Recommend highly!

This is such a cool place to hang out after work in town to enjoy a drink and delicious burger! Food: was delicious! We also order a flight of beers, which also tasted good. For the burgers, we ordered the dine in burger and the fish sando. The fish sando could have used a little more tarter sauce inside and a bit more flavor, but it was okay. The dine in burger was perfect! So juicy and fresh tasting (it ain't McDonald's)! we also ordered the Cajun fries which tasted yummy with our burgers. Service: it was okay... we sat a high top table right when you first walk in to the right. Don't you hate it when your table is wobbly?! Lol ours was... but anyway one of the guy's behind the bar took care of us. He was nice.

Great food, great drinks and great service we will definitely be back! We stopped in to hide from the rain and it was more than worth it. The drinks/cocktails were carefully hand crafted, you can taste every ingredient and it is truly delicious. We got the Birdy and the beets (darker colour with mint) and the California Sunshine (lighter pink with strawberry) and both were wonderful! We also got the Cajun fries which were delicious! Highly recommend these drinks and this place.

Oscar the bartender always makes the best amaretto sour with egg whites on top. There Brussel sprouts are to die for & there cajun fries, that's what I normally order. I highly suggest getting Astreaux (amazing soul with the seashell necklace) as your server, he is very professional, down to earth & has an amazing sense of humor, he never disappoints?????????? Highly recommended this place. Good eats, drinks & vibes
